We are excited to announce further expansion of our growing tyre and alignment business and have the requirement for a full time tyre technician.

Working alongside our valued team, your responsibilities will include tyre inspections, fitting and repairs, maintenance of fitting and technical equipment and general workshop duties of a busy tyre centre. You will also be responsible for wheel alignment duties and associated reports.

Experience in a similar role is essential, however for the right candidate, additional training will be provided. Sound mechanical knowledge is preferred.

You will have the ability to work independently and prioritise workload whilst offering consistently high levels of safety and service throughout your day to day role at Lurgan Tyre Centre.

The ideal candidate would be able to help with not only tyre fitting duties but also breakdowns, alignments, unloading deliveries and generally being a good team player.

For this role a driving license is essential.

Great way to test your tread depths!!!

Do you know how to do a quick check of your tyre tread at home? Just take a 20p coin and insert it into the tread grooves on the tyre. Tyre tread depth has to be above 1.6mm to be legal. This must be the case for the middle three quarters of the tyre.
