Quiet end to the working week after a manic return from hols so took ourselves off in for an impromptu visit to . Arrived in the dark and drizzle but it’s stunning and can’t wait to explore.

Now camped out in the Gorge de La Cèze. It’s seriously hot here. Cooling dips in the river, listening to the cicadas, watching the fish and the dragonflies. Reconnecting with nature.

Online booking is now open for bookings from 12th April.

Just a heads up. I won’t be opening up online booking just yet. Fingers crossed we can open up on the 12th April so will update closer to that date. There’s light at the end of the tunnel (a hairy one at that, but that sounds a bit wrong!)

New NHS COVID-19 App - this is the fastest way of knowing when you're at risk from coronavirus (COVID-19).
The quicker you know, the quicker you can alert your loved ones, and your community.
The app is part of the national testing and contact tracing programme, it will be used alongside the existing contact tracing.
The app allows people to ‘check-in’ to venues by scanning a QR code and alerts individuals that have spent time near other app users, who they may not personally know, and who later test positive for coronavirus. This reduces the time it takes to alert those who have been in close contact with someone with the virus.
Users will also be able to use the app to report symptoms, order a coronavirus test and get advice on self-isolating.
The app does this while protecting a user’s anonymity. Nobody, including the government, will know who or where a particular user is.
Everybody who downloads the app will be helping to protect themselves, their loved ones and their community because the more people who download it, the more effective it will be.

In light of the government announcement to ask certain businesses to close, I have taken the difficult decision to close my doors for the foreseeable future. I feel I have a social responsibility to protect you and your loved ones from potential unknown transmission of the virus responsible for Covid-19.

If you have a current booking with me, this will be cancelled but you will be offered priority booking when normal bookings resume. I hope that this is a short term measure and normal service can resume as soon as possible.

I hope you and your loved ones continue to remain safe and well in these troubled times.
