A friend of mine has a pretty severe phobia of butterflies, but luckily for her these ones are only made of glitter! 🦋 How about you - what’s your phobia?

Mine is wasps. When I was about 10 or 11 I got out of bed one morning - barefoot of course - and bam, stood right on one. 😫🤬 It stung the arch of my foot, I cried (a lot) and now whenever anything flies in through my window I’m super jumpy until I can make sure it’s just a fly or a bee. 🤷‍♀️ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

My first (successful) gel polish ombre!! Woohoo!!! 💖☺️🥰 A lot of nail art is easier to do with gel than regular polish but IMO ombre isn’t one of them. 😂 Took me a hot minute or two there…⁣⁣⁣⁣

Rose Quartz! 😍😍 So pleased with this set! I have to give a huge shout out to on this one, too! Her amethyst tutorial really helped me get the depth I wanted.

(Also, please forgive the god-awful fit on this set - I had already shaped them to fit my cuticle perfectly, then I used some spare tabs to apply them for photos. Unfortunately, those tabs are much thicker than my usual ones and they completely ruined the fit. 🥺😩)⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Had a lot of fun making this set with “Morning Glow” and their foil glue. Pro tip - leave the foil gel to cool for a couple of minutes after you’ve cured and you’ll get a much better transfer. 💖 ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

I absolutely LOVE that I’m able to offer wider sizes, but I really wish that more tip brands would be inclusive with their sizing! Tons of people - including cis women - have wider nail beds and they’re always overlooked by our industry.
This set here were hand-filed from a long square shape which actually added about 25 minutes to my prep time. Now, don’t get me wrong - it was definitely time well spent, but it wouldn’t be necessary if brands bothered to manufacture a proper range of sizes in the first place.

Thank you all so much for your love and support on yesterday’s Instagram post! I think I just needed a little bit of space to vent and not only did you give me that, but so many of you commented and offered me advice/empathised with my situation, too, which I really appreciated. It made me realise that while I might not have the biggest audience, I definitely have the best one. ❤️

I’m going to have to find some way to thank you all properly, but for now, I’ll just have to leave you with this spooky scene…. (And as I type this, I’m really hoping we haven’t all become bat-haters over the last couple of years because there are a couple of proper little cuties hiding out in this design!) ☺️🥰⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Sarah's Sparkles is an online store, specialising in hand painted, press on nails.
Forget those cheap airbrushed nails you had as a teenager, and see just how far press on nails have come!

Every single nail is hand painted by me, with the utmost care and attention to detail.
