Today is National thank a teacher day - all those who work in our schools do an amazing job under difficult circumstances so they deserve a little thank you.

These cookie boxes were collected yesterday to do just that - each contains a decorated sugar cookie and a gift voucher to get a cuppa to go with it.

Today I got to eat a cake made for me rather than by me. My 13 year old daughter made this for my Birthday today - she did a great job and it tasted delicious 💗🎂🍾

So I have some news to share:

From September I will be returning to work 5 days a week. Unfortunately, as we all know, the cost of everything has gone up so much and I need the stability of a regular income, which cakes doesn't currently give me. I will still be baking at certain times,(like Christmas and school holidays) but my availability will be much more limited from September, so make sure you use the summer months to order your tasty treats while you can. If you have a cake requirement after September, I will be able to take on limited orders if I can fit them in. A massive thank you to all my amazing customers - this is not the end of my baking journey as I love creating cakes for you all, it is a pause whilst needs must!

Lemon flavoured cupcakes for a 1st Holy Communion celebration this weekend. Congratulations to all those who will be taking their 1st Holy Communion over the next few weeks.

Hands up if you've already watched the new Bridgerton episodes? I love everything about Bridgerton and yes I have watched the 1st set of new episodes released today already and they didn't disappoint. Can't wait for the next ones to be released!

Pretty butterfly cupcakes made for my Mum's bench blessing at church today - her faith was what kept her going and as member of the congregation at Holy Cross Church for over 40 years, we chose to have a memorial bench placed in the church garden.

Last night I was at the O2 watching Take That - we had a lovely night and the boys put on a great show as always 🙌♥️

I've been looking through some of my past designs and was inspired to get my cake lace mats out to try some new ideas out 🦋

The Birthday boy loved his Blaze and the machines birthday cake - this was a dairy free red velvet cake with dairy free frosting and and a fondant finish.

This packaging from elite packaging has got me excited for thank you teacher gifts - this coffee cup cookie cutter set will make the perfect cookies to go in it too.

First wedding cake of 2024 set up today: this couple chose a chocolate bottom tier with a red velvet top tier covered in a deep purple frosting to match their colour scheme. The bride and groom also provided their own lego themed toppers.
