Zumba in Yorkley

Just a quick note to say hi and thank you all for your continued support, energy, encouragement and enthusiasm in classes lately, it’s been amazing. 🤩

This Saturday, 15th June, will be Natalie leading you all in the dance so enjoy 😉

We won’t be able to have class on Thursday 4th July due to the voting 🗳️ and the Scarr Bandstand is still not accessible as the path is still rough.

Natalie will be with you again on Saturday July 13th.

Oh and I have a blue water bottle left on the windowsill on Saturday.

Well you can tell it’s a bank holiday weekend coming up by the weather 🌦️

I’m still working on Texas Hold ‘Em and I think I’m nearly there with something that’s not too line dancey ! It’s playing everywhere, in the car, kitchen and in my brain at night 😜

🐣 Class will be on as normal on Saturday 30/3 but if I don’t see you enjoy the weekend 🐣

👀 Thursday 4/4 - due to work at the Community Centre, the class on that day will be at Whitecroft Memorial Hall.

Well 2024 has begun and January is nearly over already!

Welcome to all our new members and thank you for making them so welcome 🙏

Just a few dates for your diary…….

Saturday 3rd February- in 2018 it was our first class at Yorkley Community Centre
Thursday 7th March - no class on this date I’m afraid as I will be hopefully sunning myself in Benidorm
Saturday 9th March - you will have Natalie as guest instructor so the party can continue as usual
Thursday 2nd May - no class at the centre in this day as it’s being used for elections and I expect our alternative venue won’t be available for the same reason.
Sunday 6th October - ZinFestWest 2024 in Swindon
Sunday 24th November - Zumba Party at the Town Hall

Another fun week of classes
Met new people and welcomed them into our zumba family
A few will be away over the coming weeks which means we will miss seeing you but have fun on your adventures.
Been working on some new tracks which I will introduce gradually and as you know I’m fine in practice but they don’t always work ( I suddenly forget them ok lol) first time but hey it will get there and we have fun trying.

VENUE CHANGE - Saturday 2nd December the centre is being used for a Christmas fair so I’ve been able to get the Whitecroft Memorial Hall for that day

Cost is £19 and they would like payment in full. We had a lovely time last year but will definitely remember to bring a small container lol

Hi

I’ve been tracking the forecast for tomorrow and it’s so changeable I have decided to call it and say that sadly we won’t be at the bandstand tomorrow. I went there yesterday and from a health and safety point the track is now large stones that were placed for the heavy machinery and it was quite difficult to walk on and if you went across the top and walk down the hill it’s been muddy and as it’s quite steep I don’t think that’s a good idea either. Such a shame we haven’t managed to dance amongst the trees in the fresh air this year but hopefully we will have some opportunities next year.

Hope that you’re not too achy, I just had to go to bed early but slept very well.

It was very special to be able to dance along with you, not something I get to do usually.

I wasn’t expecting to go up on stage I just got carried away and couldn’t say no lol. As you can probably tell this event is my happy place.

So how would you like to do it all again in 2024! The coach is already booked and we can sort that out later as the more people that get booked the better it will be, but if you could book up ASAP either using the QR code they gave out yesterday putting me down as your instructor or just letting me me know with a big YES !

I can’t for some reason post the link at the moment but a search for ZinFestWest 2024 will find the page where you can find a booking link. But I’m happy to help if needs be.
