We seem to have been so busy these last 7 months (hence no recent posts and an overgrown nursery) - here are a selection of photos showing you what we've been up to, have a good weekend..

The sale of the marrows/courgettes grown on the compost bins at Decorfolia raised an almighty £75. This, rounded up to £100 has been donated to Oakhaven Hospice in Lymington for all the wonderful care they give. Thank you all, preparations underway for next year's crop!

Sometimes, environmental factors make live plant displays impractical - artificial plants are an impressive alternative nowadays. Our client asked us to block plant their existing barrier troughs to define areas in their office.

Here are some "before" photos taken at the nursery, the Geraniums really pop with colour amongst the various shades of green foliage...we thought they looked very realistic.

We take used pallets from the nursery and have them made into planters by a local craftsman. They come in two sizes. After this they can be aged/washed/coloured to your specification. Rustic and charming - we love them!

Congratulations to our Mark and his sons who ran the Santa Race in Lymington on Sunday; they raised £250.00 for our local charity, Oakhaven Hospice Trust.

We're getting into the spirit of the coming season preparing Christmas trees for delivery to some of our customers.

We were pleased to be able to donate two plant displays for SPUD in Sway this week - they run SPUDyouth, a free program for young people interested in architecture, urban design and public art. Find out about their projects at:

A swarm of honey bees we caught in 2016 has given us 15Kg of honey in this wild natural comb...

Some species at Decorfolia HQ have suffered this summer, but our bananas and courgette plants have romped away! We must have sold 50 odd courgettes at the roadside, and I've just collected another barrow full! Courgette jam anyone?!

We recently installed two silver trough planters under the stairs for a client. It was a tad awkward getting them in, but the block-planted Dracaena Deremensis look elegant and soften the contemporary decor a treat. The spot lighting really sets them off, don't you think?

One of our new clients asked Decorfolia for Plant Portraits to display plants vertically in their new and contemporary offices. These displays come in three sizes and can be grouped together for even greater effect. What do you think?

One of our new clients in London has asked for live AND artificial plant displays for their offices. We were happy to supply Pleomele Song of India and Ficus Hawaiian Iiana in spun aluminium planters. Are any of them real or no real, do you think?

Beehives in the snow

Here are some pictures of Marks beehives that live here on the nursery and like every thing else in the snow they stop working...
