Just done my tax return. The last job for closing down Karla's Parlour. I've loved every minute of trading and I will miss it. But I have other demands on my time. Maybe one day I'll pick it up again. Massive thanks to all who've supported me over the years.

Calling all Mothers - Let me help you and your children get you something you really want

If like me, your children often don't know what to get you for Mothers Day, so you end up buying something yourself then giving it to the children to wrap up, thus the element of surprise has gone and the children sometimes feel that they haven't specifically chosen anything for you. I have come up with an idea that you can still choose something you would like, but there is an element of surprise and your children can actually get it for you.

Between now and Mothers Day - mothers can browse around the shop (as well as the other outlets of Mostyns and Interiors and even Richards and Richards) and I'll provide you with a sheet where you can write down a number of 'wish list items' (minimum of 3). Do not buy them.

Then, knowing how much your item(s) may cost, return to the shop with your children, ask them to get your wish list from me, and then they can choose any item(s) from your list. We will then wrap it up, ready for them to present it to you on Mothers Day. You will then have a genuine surprise knowing that they have chosen it for you too.

This can also apply to husbands/partners who also don't know what to get for you. I am happy to do this throughout the year for birthdays etc.

So, come along to the shop anytime from today and pick up a Wish List form and start selecting your choices.

I don't have a stall at this months Heaton Moor Producers Market but I shall be going along as a customer. Can't miss out on all those lovely goodies!

Exciting news! My pots are now stocked in a shop! Along with lots of other lovely handmade goodies. Go and check out Crookilley Crafts Emporium at Pear Mill, it opens on Monday.

So it's my last market of 2013 tomorrow and where better to end the year than at Heaton Moor Producers Market. This is your last chance if you want a pot for a Christmas pressie. I believe Santa will be visiting us too!

I'll be at Sale Farmers Market tomorrow, 9-5 on School Road. I've been making more pots so there's plenty to choose from. They're perfect for Christmas presents, especially for those 'hard to buy for' folks :-)

Stalybridge Handmade Market is tomorrow! I had a great time there earlier this year so I'm looking forward to going back. I've got more pots than I think I've ever had so there's lots of choice.

Can't quite believe how quickly this has come around again, it's Heaton Moor Producers Market tomorrow! All my new pot designs will be there and the chainsaw carvings. There's some fabulous stalls with great food and unique Christmas present ideas, I have a lengthy shopping list :-)

I'll be in Poynton tomorrow at the craft fair in aid of Cancer Research at the Civic Hall. There's no plants due to wind and rabbit damage but I do have loads of pots, some new designs too! I also have some chainsaw carvings. Hopefully I'll see lots of familiar faces supporting this great cause.

Apologies for my recent absence....but I'm back now! I'll be at Heaton Moor Producers Market tomorrow with a few herb plants (not as many as I'd like but we've had a bunny invasion!) and I've a good number of plant pots, perfect if you're thinking about Christmas already. I'm currently only doing one market a month, Heaton Moor Producers Market, my favourite! I'm keeping busy building up my stock, lots of herbs finally growing and enjoying this gorgeous warm weather. I shall hopefully be adding more markets over the next couple of months...watch this space!

I'm doing a craft fair in Poynton tomorrow 11-3 and Sunday 11-2.30 at the Community Centre. It's part of the Hungarian Festival and it looks like there's lots going on around the village, come and check it out!!

I'm spending the day at a school tomorrow where a lovely friend of mine teaches. Very excited to be working with the little ones in their veg garden, can't wait to see what they're growing!

I'll be at Sale Farmers Market tomorrow, and I think there's a festival going on too...all sounds very exciting. I've loved the markets I've done in Sale so can't wait to go back! Come and check out my herb and veg plants :-)

There's no Heaton Moor Producers Market tomorrow, but you can find me at Woodbank Community Centre on Sunday for the first Allsorts Arts and Crafts Fair. Looks like summer may finally be with us so it's a perfect time for planting tomatoes and courgettes aswell as other veg and herbs, most of which I will have.

The tomato plants and courgettes will be making this years debut tomorrow at Marple Bridge Handmade Craft Fair along with runner beans! Still got lots of kale, psb spinach and peas too. And of course some herbs. Why not pop down and have a look?

Poynton Farmers Market has been cancelled!! Maybe the weather will be better for next month?!!

It's Poynton Farmers Market tomorrow at The Farmers Arms 10-2. As spring has decided to desert us again I've decided to keep the strawberry plants at £1 to cheer us up. I've also got some peas and broad beans, along with some herbs and pots, and my new plant labels too.

Finally finished getting ready for Heaton Moor Producers Market tomorrow. I've got a few more herb plants and some broad beans are ready now that the weather's decided to play nice. As it's a bank holiday weekend I'm also doing a special offer -strawberry plants for just £1. And I've been painting some plant labels too, I'm pretty pleased with how they look but your opinion would be welcome.
