Embracing a savoury breakfast as opposed to sugary cereals/toast can really help your body avoid that early glucose spike & set you up for a great day of maintenance. Help your body stay away from inflammation & all of the other health consequences related to sugar/carb consumption. It’s a fairly simple lifestyle switch that will pay dividends over time. Wholefoods, protein, fruit (within reason) & veg will help your body become/stay happy & healthy🤍
Change is entirely up to you. It can take time & involve mistakes but it’s all completely doable if you just keep at it 💪🏼⚡️

Post diet, these are a nice treat alternative to chocolate or other processed sugary foods that you might reach for. They contain dates & apricots which are still sugar but at least these are homemade & contain natural sugars. You’ll know exactly what’s in them because you made them!
I threw the following ingredients in a food processor, formed into balls & then rolled in desicated coconut;
Walnuts
Almonds
Cashews
Dates
Apricots
Chia seeds
They’re happy in the fridge but I freeze mine as they soften quickly. Delicious!

Strength training has so many benefits but a lot of women avoid it, fearing that they’ll bulk up.
This type of exercise will make you stronger, it increases bone density and muscle mass and reduces fat. It can help with posture and balance whilst warding off disease. Strength training also burns calories beyond the training session as your muscles are busy repairing.
And you don’t need a gym. Just lift some heavy things on a daily basis - our bodies are designed for it!

So much choice now with the option to include regular food too depending on which Step works for you🌈
The rate of loss is 1 stone every 4-6 weeks so you get encouraging, solid results whilst looking after your nutrition & being supported/weighed on a one to one basis.
While sugar has been completely normalised by food manufacturers, it is so disruptive for the body (not simply for weight but it’s responsible for a multitude of disease etc). And remember, booze is another one that’s been completely normalised but is full of sugar! I’m not suggesting you completely cut sugar out (though that would be great!), just recognise it for what it does to your body & reduce it.
Protein and nutrient rich whole foods will really support your system. However you choose to maintain, or whatever foods you include in your plan (from Step 2 and above), try and go for the biggest nutritional punch👊🏼
Easier said than done I know! But, the more you focus your thoughts away from what causes unhappiness and towards the things that make you feel good, the easier it gets.
With regards to diet, this means that you’re far less reactive and much more mindful. You will have the ability to pause. You’ll realise that you’re about to dive into the fridge (or eat things that are not supporting you) simply because you’re feeling negative emotions. You become far more conscious of your behaviour and more competent at controlling it so that you’re better placed to achieve your goals.
With regards to life, we are our thoughts! So what could be more important than having good ones?! Why dwell on a bad news story (unless you’re going to actually do something about it)? Why feel concern about what others might think of you? Why focus on the things that you’re not happy about? Why? Because weirdly it can feel easier, especially if you’re in the habit of being a bit negative or exercising a victim mentality. Or if you’re surrounded by whingers, it can be easier to join the club rather than stay quiet or leave!
The interesting thing about becoming happier in your head is that things generally improve, life seems to flow with ease from getting every green light on your drives to bigger improvements in other areas.
It takes some effort to turn your thoughts around but, like exercise the effort is well worth it🌈
Clients are sometimes curious about how I maintain my weight, assuming that I continue to consume the products. I rarely do. We’re all different so need to find our own solutions to maintenance. For me though, the key is simplicity. I like to avoid starchy carbohydrates and mainly eat ‘low carb, high fat’ (LCHF).

A reminder to breeeeathe💚
If we’re stressed/worried etc we tend to take short breaths. Often people just get into the habit of this way of breathing. Shallow breathing tells our body that we’re stressed/in danger. It can lead to/perpetuate anxiety and lead to a whole host of disease.
Breath is life; by taking deep breaths we can calm our whole system. Make your exhale longer than your in breath and you’ll really feel the effects. Gift yourself just 5 - 10/day to set yourself up to feel calm and centred. Send the right message to your brain through your breath. Our bodies are amazing! We can control soooo much more than we’re told! Trust yourself🤍

One of my favourite quotes! It reminds me that we are the creators of our lives. Many people are stuck in victim mode, life feels like it’s just happening to them. They seem to attract more of the same & get stuck in situations & patterns, feeling powerless & unable to break out. But we all make decisions that put us & keep us in these holding patterns. It takes guts, strength & and bit of trust to make changes but when we take the reins, we leave that powerless state of feeling like a victim & this is where the magic can happen.
