No bu****it, no marketing waffle, just the evolution of an already awesome shock. That’s what the new Storia V4 is. Small changes and improvements in all areas with no stone left unturned.
What has changed from the V3 Storia to the V4 you ask?
•Adjustable hydraulic bottom out control
•DLC coated shaft for ultra low friction
•Low pressure bladder
•Allen key adjustment for high and low speed compression
•Lighter weight.
The first one we have is heading out tomorrow and we look forward to hearing rider feedback on it.
smashed it with the colour of the latest Zeb. Up close it’s stunning. The new Vivid coil isn’t bad either!
Both are available and in stock now.

Do you want to increase the travel 10mm on your Fox fork? Put off by the cost of the new air springs? We have a solution! Thanks to You can now increase your travel at a cost of £35 using this handy 10mm extender. Suitable for most Fox forks (Fox 32 SC excluded) and you can only extend as far as the maximum travel your fork is available in. So your Fox 38 won’t go to 190mm travel!!
In stock now and going on our website tonight.
Another couple of DHX coil shocks heading out of the door today. If you are tempted to try a coil shock on your bike then these are coming in at a great price currently.
Currently we have some cracking offers available on 22/23 model year Fox product with up to 30% off RRP.
Everyone love new tool day! But what’s it for?
The Rolls Royce of dropper posts passed across the workbench today. The Revive really is a fantastic dropper post, years later one of the major companies with a post beginning with R is still not even close to producing such a great product.
That stop you feel on Fox DHX2 and Float X2 adjusters really is the stop, don’t go searching for extra clicks!
The owner of this one was incredibly lucky not to have had any of the debris from the broken adjuster housing scratch the inside of the IFP reservoir.
A brand new Zeb passed across the workbench today for a full new fork inspection and a piston kit to take the performance to a whole@new level.
New shock body for this Deluxe to keep it rolling.
Fox 38 passed through the workshop today. This one got a big upgrade with a Luftkappe and some custom valving.
Remember, nothing has hidden clicks!
Go easy on those Float X2 adjusters or you will end up with something that looks like this with bits floating around inside the shock.
Annual servicing is important, it stops small problems becoming far larger issues.
Book your suspension in today on our website to make sure your suspension is looked after with no hidden surprises.
The first jobs of the New Year are getting done and heading out of the workshop today.
Winter has been filthy up to now so make sure you get that suspension serviced. Don’t wait until it’s gone wrong or starts to feel terrible, often by then it’s too late and the damage is done.
Happy New Year to all my amazing customers both new, old and future.
Thank you for the continued support in 2023. It’s made a lot of great things happen. The biggest been the new business premises we have moved to along with Beespoke Wheels
Here’s to a great 2024 to you all.
Thank you again. Rick.
It’s that time of year again!
We will be closed for Christmas from lunch time on the 22nd until the 2nd of January when we will be open from 8.30 as normal.
As always we won’t see anyone stuck, if you have a big issue with your suspension or dropper post drop us a message and we will try to help you, we won’t see you stuck. That’s not for riders who need a general service, that can wait until January.
Demo damper built!
We have been wanting to do this for a while but haven’t had time to. Now we have a piston kit fitted in a Zeb Charger3 available for people to demo. If anyone wants to find out just how good the Charger3 can feel just drop us a message about trying this damper!.
A Fox float X2 across the bench this lot is g for a base valve piston and a custom tune.
One of the issues with the X2 is the internal pressures generated with the stock valving and the stock base valve piston. The new piston improves flow and makes a massive improvement to the usable range of adjustment for all riders.
Had an old one across the bench today.
This Fox Triad is still going strong and is now good for another 12 months.
Some goodness in for annual service today.
Did you know we are one of only a handful of authorised service centres here in the UK. Keeping a stock of parts and service items for them which in turn keeps you all on the trails faster which is where you all want to be.
Bump stops!
What works for one bike cannot work for them all. Likewise one bump stop compound won’t work for a wide range of rider weights.
We stock bump stops, they are available for self install or as part of a service and can be used in air shocks as well as coil shocks.
We will have them on our website later on and we have them in all 4 fitments catering for most shocks and in 2 different compounds.
Friendly reminder to everyone to look after your suspension and avoid nasty bills.
This fork had definitely skipped a couple of services.
If you have a 2021 or newer Fox 36 then you need the air spring on the left in these pictures. This 36 was running the older air spring so travel will have been reduced along with a firm ride in the first part of the travel.
All good now and ready to hit the trails again.
Maximum travel mode unlocked.
Annual servicing is important as it catches things like this and prevents them becoming far bigger and more destructive issues. Had this not been caught then metal on metal contact could occur at bottom out causing considerable damage and ultimately could mean destruction of the shock.
Look after your suspension and prevent big bills.
Let’s talk Charger3 dampers.
After the initial launch of the new damper a lot of people have been complaining about the feel of the new damper. A lot of this is down to the preloaded high speed shim stack. As the stock piston is dished giving it the preload it’s not something that’s easily fixed.
Luckily we are able to supple piston kits for the Charger3 damper here in the UK. This removes the stock piston replaces it altogether along with custom valving.
Early reports are great with riders reporting more support, increased sensitivity especially on repeated hits, reduced hand pain and better grip. It really is win win.
Get in touch if you want your Charger3 damper taking up to the next level.
We are delighted to be able to announce that going forward we will be dealing and distributing range of suspension tuning and bottom out bumpers here in the UK.
We are now able to offer:
Charger3 l compression pistons and tuning,
Grip2 VVC tuning for the 34/36/38,
Float X2/DHX2 21+ base valve pistons and tuning,
Bottom out bumpers for a range of coil and air shocks.
Having worked with Ryan from Fluid Focus for some time we cannot wait to get more riders upgraded and feeling just how good their suspension can be.
Trade enquiries welcome.
Fork sale! All these forks have been stripped and inspected to make sure they are running perfect.
DVO Onyx SC 29” fork. Matte black, set to 170mm travel but we can adjust this. £710
Cane Creek Helm MK2 limited edition Chameleon, 29”, air, travel set to 160mm but we can change this. £850
Cane Creek Helm MK2 limited edition Sunburst, 29”, air, travel set to 160mm but we can change this. £850
EXT Storia V3 across the workbench last week for a full service.
This one was off a Geometron G1 so had spherical eyelet bearings and a coil negative spring.
These are great shocks and the backup from Chris and Jack is next level.
Not all services are equal!
This fork had recently been serviced elsewhere in the world. The owner had reported the fork had been topping out a lot and air pressurising the lowers. Upon removing the lowers the reason was very obvious.
One replacement air shaft later and it was good to go again. This could have been easily avoided if the previous service centre had taken pride and care in the work they did.
We are closed now until Tuesday the 12/09/23.
All calls, emails and messages will be responded to in due course.
From this point onwards every spring we sell will include a printout showing the exact spring rate of the spring.
What does this mean for you the customer? It means that you can have 100% confidence the spring we sell you is accurately rated and removes any guesswork as not all springs are labelled accurately, some can be low and some high.
All springs will remain the same price.
That’s not ideal! An older CTD Evolution shock with the dreaded cracked shims. All sorted now with new shims and a replacement damper body.
