IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH! 🧠 I personally started going to the gym and exercising for my own mental health. When I started I was in a bad place both mentally and physically. I was constantly stressed out trying to run a business and keep up with the demands of customers. I was so busy trying to help everyone else that I started to neglect myself. I began to stress eat and try find comfort in both food and alcohol. Eventually living this way lead to me becoming overweight and feeling very unhealthy. I decided it was time for a change and began regularly going to the gym. The first thing I noticed was the more I lifted heavy weights, the more it cleared my mind. I was using my worries, fears, stresses and emotions to fuel my workouts. The more I done this the happier I felt outside of the gym in my everyday life, all of a sudden my big problems that I was facing didn’t seem so big anymore. I could problem solve better, I would sleep better at night, I began to look better in the mirror and my clothes started to fit better. My overall feelings about myself and my life became better! I went on holiday not only physically but with my diet as well. 🐷 I wanted to enjoy myself for a few days and why not!? I had burgers, donuts, pizza, fry’s and guess what I put on 2 pound in a week. 🍔 🍩🍕🥓 Do I feel bad about it? Nope. Was it worth it? Yup. Is it a big deal? Nope. I’m now back on track this week and I will have that 2 pound back off and maybe more by the end of it. My point being EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT! Enjoy yourself if you’re on holiday or have a special occasion happening. Weight is only a number and that number can always be changed up or down depending on what your goal is.
