Client Transformation ⚡️

Turning boys into men with this one, Thomas came to me looking to put on some muscle.

He had never been to the gym before and said that he didn’t have a clue what he was doing. I was able to teach him a wide range of exercises and techniques.

He also became a lot stronger. He put on a lot of good muscle mass and size onto his body.

He was even giving me a run for my money when it came to lifting weights matching me in strength. 😅

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” ✨

Are you really challenging yourself within the gym? A lot of people go into the gym without any structure, not pushing themselves hard enough.

Jumping from machine to machine whenever you see one is free and going through the motions will not get you to where you want to be within your fitness journey.

You need a structured program to follow and then work on progressing within that program. Even if it’s just doing more reps than before or adding more weight to the exercises that you are doing or performing the exercises with better technique.

These small steps and changes can make a big difference of succeeding and hitting your goals.

SGPT 6am - 7am has 4 spaces left for anyone that would like to start their day off right to insure a successful day ahead then get on it!

SCHOOL MUMS CLASS 10am - 11am has only 3 spaces left! This class is getting a lot of attention and is a great way to work on yourself while the kids are at school!

PERSONAL TRAINING 1:1 AND 2:1 - my evening slots are almost full so I’m opening morning and daytime slots as well to allow more people in!

I honestly love what I do, helping people achieve their goals and seeing them succeed.

Working on myself, training harder than ever and feeling amazing lately!

🎉 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🎉

has now lost over 1 stone and has also packed on quite abit of muscle mass as well. (He’s a big boy now.💪😳)

He still enjoys all his favourite foods and a few drinks at the weekend socialising. 🍔🍺

He now feels more body confident and has fallen in love with his fitness and health. ❤️

IMPROVE YOUR MENTAL HEALTH! 🧠

I personally started going to the gym and exercising for my own mental health. When I started I was in a bad place both mentally and physically. I was constantly stressed out trying to run a business and keep up with the demands of customers. I was so busy trying to help everyone else that I started to neglect myself. I began to stress eat and try find comfort in both food and alcohol.

Eventually living this way lead to me becoming overweight and feeling very unhealthy. I decided it was time for a change and began regularly going to the gym. The first thing I noticed was the more I lifted heavy weights, the more it cleared my mind. I was using my worries, fears, stresses and emotions to fuel my workouts. The more I done this the happier I felt outside of the gym in my everyday life, all of a sudden my big problems that I was facing didn’t seem so big anymore. I could problem solve better, I would sleep better at night, I began to look better in the mirror and my clothes started to fit better. My overall feelings about myself and my life became better!

It is scientifically proven that exercise releases endorphins in your brain that make you feel happier. 😊

Tips for weight loss.👇

The most important thing you need to do while trying to lose weight is making sure you are staying within a calorie deficit.

You can do this by simply choosing the lower calorie options of your favourite foods when possible.

For example swap out normal mayonnaise or cheese for light mayonnaise or cheese.

I was able to make a good sized “fry” for as little as 375 calories with 40 grams of protein.

Why is protein also important with weight loss? Eating high protein meals will make you feel fuller for longer.

Protein also has a higher thermic effect of food compared to carbs and fat. What that means is when you consume high amounts of protein you’re body is actually burning more calories to process it.

The more calories burned the more of a deficit you can keep yourself in therefore you can continue to lose weight.

I have posted some low calorie alternatives that I personally like to use to help me with my own weight loss.

I went on holiday not only physically but with my diet as well. 🐷

I wanted to enjoy myself for a few days and why not!?

I had burgers, donuts, pizza, fry’s and guess what I put on 2 pound in a week. 🍔 🍩🍕🥓

Do I feel bad about it? Nope.
Was it worth it? Yup.
Is it a big deal? Nope.

I’m now back on track this week and I will have that 2 pound back off and maybe more by the end of it.

My point being EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT!
Enjoy yourself if you’re on holiday or have a special occasion happening.

Weight is only a number and that number can always be changed up or down depending on what your goal is.

Keep active, stay consistent and enjoy your life.

Who loves having pizza on a Saturday night? 🍕

Why don’t you have a fakeaway night, get the family involved and enjoy a delicious pizza for half the calories, and a quarter of the price.

Pizza is one of my favourite foods, and I knew if I wanted to stick at my fitness journey that I would still need to be able to enjoy pizza. A lot of foods are labelled as ‘bad’ and ‘unhealthy’ but I’ve learned that there is always a healthier way to cook your favourite foods.

I can enjoy my favourite meal for half the calories, while loading the pizza up with plenty of protein to keep me fuller for longer, and actually enjoy my meal.

You don’t have to eat salads all day, every day to lose weight. Just make sure to eat within your calories and enjoy!

Full recipe;

100g flour
100g fat free Greek yogurt
Knead and then roll the dough out
Put on your desired base, add your toppings and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
