The Sanatan Parivar aims to bring communities in and around Maidenhead ,UK together to celebrate the rich Vedic culture of Sanatan Dharma.
We will support each other, participate, learn and get enriched with its values together. The Sanatan Dharma inherently nurtures individuals into well informed citizens who celebrate their identities and also seamlessly integrate and positively contribute to the society wherever they live. A special shout out to our dedicated volunteer- Vidhya Mausi, who will be performing the Ganapathi Pooja this Sunday.
She has a kind 🥰and firm😅 way to keep everyone engaged in the pooja from the start to the finish, so everyone takes home a beautiful experience.
Please bring lots of shraddha, bhakti and prem for Ganapathi Bappa's pooja on Sunday. If you know Atharva sheersh, please feel free to chant along.
TSP is not about perfection, it is about the willingness to share and expand your home and heart, also embracing the madness and juggling the chaos of the Parivar. All our volunteers know and experience this. 🥰🙏

Teacher:
Sri. Harinath Raghupathi started his mindfulness journey 12 years ago with the International Art of Living Organisation, by practicing breathing techniques, Yoga postures and Meditation.
He graduated as a teacher in 2017 from the International Centre in Bangalore, India. Hari further developed his practice by completing the 500Hrs Yoga Teachers Training from Sri Sri School of Yoga.
During the lockdown, Hari was part of a team that co-ordinated & conducted daily free yoga & meditation classes twice a day, to help people cope with isolation, as well as the rising mental health related issues that were emerging in society. These classes were very well received and participant numbers rose to over 100 students per class at the height of the pandemic.

TSP Gymkhana this Sunday in Maidenhead. Games for all and a potluck!

It was lovely practicing and learning together , we plan to continue the choir in Autumn.
This Guru Poornima, we are raising funds for a new Hindu temple in Burnham, GB-SRSBrundavan . TSP organised Naada Sadhana Utsav, a morning of Indian Classical Music and Dance, where participants offered their reverence to their teachers with a performance. We have a target of raising £500 by July 15th, please donate generously. 🙏🏽. The first £500 raised will be matched by our local art school, Artspiration.
