The Chiltern Music Academy are running a concise conducting course in High Wycombe for adult musicians/music teachers with all levels of experience to develop their knowledge and practical application of conducting.

The course includes taught modules and discussion, the main focus being on the practical experience of conducting live musicians. It includes supervised conducting in a friendly and constructive learning environment. Not to be missed! Observer places available too.

Workshop Wednesday! 🛠

We see a lot of tarnished keys in the workshop, but these were fairly bad! Thankfully they can usually be brought back nicely...

Thame Concert Band are excited to announce the return of their annual 'A Last Night At The Proms' concert!

The first concert steered by new MD Rob Spalton, the band have been working hard on a diverse, exciting list of music and are all set to bring you music from across the British Isles including some Proms favourites!

On 14th September from 7pm the band hope that you will join them for what is sure to be a brilliant, memorable evening of live music!

*Based on the 10,000 hour 'rule' - but don't worry, if you try twice as hard in each practice session you can get it down to 7 years 🤣
