World Mental Health Day, observed on 10th October every year, is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and fostering open conversations about mental well-being. It's a day when individuals, organisations, and communities come together to emphasise the importance of mental health in our lives. It serves as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health, and that seeking help and support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

MyWorkspot had the honour of hosting fundraising strategy meeting this week.

The Clubhouse meeting room at York House was the perfect setting for the event.

We're thrilled to have been able to support this wonderful local charity and their crucial work in the community.

Workplace experience is more than creating wonderful spaces; it’s all about the people.

As a co-working & flexible office provider it’s crucial that we create a sense of community amongst all of our members, whether they are hot-desking or using one of our fixed offices.

When we partnered with one of our member organisations, audiem, we were not only able to measure that sense of community, but using their powerful freetext analytics tools we were able to understand what is working specifically, why it matters to our members and make sure our team got to hear all the positive feedback!

This sort of feedback is so much more powerful than satisfaction ratings. It’s members stories that matter and with “Community” coming in as one of our highest ratings we are pretty pleased with the results.

As part of the survey we did with Audiem, we could see some of the behaviours of our members and what “essential” work they do whilst working in MyWorkspot.

As an owner of a flexible office space this data is crucial to see where we can adapt our offering to specific memberships and allow specific members to fulfil those essential tasks every time they come through the door

Some findings from the photo:
- Face to face meetings are less important for hot deskers
- A high percentage of office members come in to socialise with their colleagues.
- Across all memberships coming into MyWorkspot is essential to doing routine online emails and admin
- Far fewer hot desk members come in to manage their team

Not only were we able to categorise these different work activities but using Audiem’s powerful insights analytics, using freetext responses, we were able to understand specifically how we can support each of these different work modes for our members.

About last night…..

We had been shortlisted for 2 awards at the Maidenhead and Windsor Business Awards; 1 - Fastest Growing Business & 2 - Business of the Year.

We only went and WON BOTH!!!

In June 2023 MyWorkspot partnered with Audiem to create a members survey.

The survey asked a few questions about the member, their membership and work pattern. Audiem then used a series of open-ended questions to measure their experience.

Audiem’s cutting edge technology assesses freetext feedback and generates insights using it’s peer reviewed Workplace Mix™ which acts as a holistic framework for measuring workplace experience. This meant that we were not only able to know what works and what we can improve, but WHY, looking at insights through the words of our members.

Given our multiple buildings we were interested to see the differences between the two, the similarities in the feedback and where we can improve our customer experience. Thankfully we had an even split of feedback from both sites and received an NPS Score of 64!

“Take 15” was an initiative we set up just after Covid to encourage people to get away from their desks for just 15mins, speak to other members and simply take a break. It does help that food is involved!
We continue to run these once a month for our members in both sites.
