Last week, Eclipse Park took part in fundraising money for Marks and Spencer’s chosen charity. We started the week off with a sponsored bike ride, from our store to lands end in Cornwall. Which then followed onto a party in the park on Sunday raising even more money.

Here at Eclipse Park, celebrating and supporting our LGBTQ+ colleagues is something important to us, and during the month of June we held various events to show our support. ❤️

1. Firstly we began the month with a colourful brunch to represent the pride flag for our colleagues, a nice Friday treat which we all enjoyed. 🧡

2. Secondly, we had a fun quiz, giving all colleagues a chance to get involved and test their knowledge based around PRIDE topics.💛

3. We then had a bake sale, in which our colleagues either “faked” or “baked” sweet treats, which again we all enjoyed, the money we raised went to charity. 💚

4. We then had a beautiful bright colour t-shirt day, where our lovely colleagues brightened up our store. 💜

5. As well as the above, we have been doubling donations to AKT, a charity which supports young LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness. 💙

Overall June has been full of love and kindness towards all customers and colleagues. 🏳️‍🌈
