🏆Club Day 2024
🗓️8th September
⏰10am start
We are inviting regular club members to join us on 8th September at 10am to take part in our annual club day event.
This event is for individual dog/handler assessments which will include various exercises which will be marked out of 10 by Doug.
The exercises will be what you would have already learnt at the Weds/Sunday training classes.
We have 1st to 4th place up for grabs for both the beginner group & the advanced 🏆
So please come along & give it a go!
After all the assessments have taken place we will have some yummy food prepared by Doug & Sally, if you have any dietary requirements please do let us know.
If you are planning on coming please confirm on this post in the comments section or via a private message to the page.
If you would like a family member to accompany you on this day to enjoy the event please confirm this also so we have a running total.
Children are welcome if they are well trained!! 🤣
You will need to bring something to sit on, as well as a cup, plate & cutlery.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for dry weather ☀️
Doug, Sally & Lucy 🐾🐾
Happy Birthday to Sally Amos 🎉
Enjoy your special day, love from all at
TK Dog Club 🐾🐾
Heelwork through the poles was just one of the exercises this morning, here’s some of the dogs practicing this. We try to encourage owners to use their voice rather than the lead with this, as you can see they are all doing very well! 🌟
🚨Wednesday training sessions will now take place in the evening- 7pm until 8pm 🐾🐾
Another good training session with all these dogs. Each week we get a variety of dog breeds, here’s who came along today! 🐾🐾 ⭐️
We welcomed Zuco & his owners back to the club a couple of weeks ago 🐾🐾
Stephanie, Ben & Zuco first came to training back in 2021 when they had just started to foster Zuco. They knew when they first got him that he needed some training to improve his behaviour around other dogs, after being turned away by other trainers local to them- every week they would make the 4 hour round trip to club! They were very welcome to train with us.
What a commitment they made & as you can see Zuco hasn’t forgotten any of it!
Zuco was adopted by Stephanie & Ben - he now has his happy ever after ⭐️
🚨Training cancelled today- due to unforeseen circumstances, sorry everyone ☹️
The sun came out today for a short time but it was very boggy on the field, we did all still manage a good training session!!!
Don’t forget training is also on a Weds afternoon from 1.30pm for an hour 🐾🐾
Wow what a class today! I don’t think we have had this many since the summer ☀️
It really is great to see so many people wanting to train their dogs ⭐️
Training is a gradual process & you may not see an improvement immediately but start the process, put in the time & it will be worth it!! 🐾🐾
Wednesday Dog Training
1.30 - 2.30pm
If you are planning on coming along please either comment on this post or message me 07799067949
Thanks, Lucy
It was good to get back to training today 🐾🐾
For some people they were a bit worried about either their first session or returning to training after the break but all the owners & dogs did very well after listening to the advice from Doug.
Sometimes making the first step to get help with your dogs behaviour can be the hardest & quite daunting but in the end it will be worth it to see your dog improve 🤩🐶
🚨Training is on tomorrow! 🐾🐾
Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
As we’ve had a few enquiries about dog club I thought I would do a quick update………..
TK Dog Club will hopefully resume on 14th January.
I will confirm for definite next week, Lucy 🐾🐾
🚨SUNDAY & WEDNESDAY TRAINING CANCELLED
Due to a long awaited apt for Doug, we will be cancelling all training sessions (including the Xmas Party) until the New Year.
Training will recommence in January by either myself (Lucy) or Doug!
We hope you all have a great Christmas & New Year.
We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year 2024 🐾🐾
⭐️CANCELLATION TOMORROW⭐️
Unfortunately on this occasion the weather has won & we will not be holding the Christmas Party tomorrow. The plan is to postpone until 17th December 10am (again weather dependant).
NO TRAINING will take place tomorrow either as the field & car park are both flooded!!!
Sorry to let you all down, fingers and paws crossed for next weekend instead 🎅🏻
Doug, Sally & Lucy 🐾🐾

What a committed bunch we were today! 🐾🐾
Even in the rain we were out training our dogs, just the way it should be, progress being made in rain or shine 🤩
We have dogs at training that are at different levels of capability. When we start teaching the ‘down’ we will build on the length of time the dog is left. Some here in the video can remain in the ‘down’ for 10+ mins or with the owner out of sight, where as others would be just 10 seconds. This is a gradual process & the time can be slowly increased.
Today we had quite a few new dogs all starting out on their training journey! 🐾🐾
Sunny Sunday! ☀️
A big class today which was great.
We covered quite a few exercises and welcomed some new dogs/owners.
In the video we are using the ‘stand’ whilst the owner moves away from the dog 🌟
Don’t forget we also have our Wednesday class which runs from 2.30pm for 1 hour 🐾🐾
🚨Wednesday Dog Training🚨
Doug will now run a class starting at 2.30pm every Wednesday afternoon for 1 hour 🐾🐾
🚨This Wednesday 20th - will be the final training session that takes place in the evenings, this will run for 1 hour from 6.30pm.
🚨If Doug was to run a daytime class on a Wednesday please can you let me know if you would be interested, comment on this post or send a pm to the page, thank you - Lucy 🐾🐾
Club Day 2023 continued………….

Finally, we must not forget to say a BIG thank you to Doug & Sally for organising today & providing the food & drink it was all great! 🐾🐾
