However If you need me, I'm available for pop ins for loo breaks etc.

Don't forget peeps, please keep an eye on the temperature. If it gets to 28°c according to the met office forecast then all walks are cancelled but pop ins for toilet breaks will be offered.

It now appears that 3 dogs have now lost their lives due to poisoning. 2 where I have indicated on my previous post and a 3rd at Chigborough lakes, and some others have also fallen ill.

If you suspect that your dog may have been poisoned please call 101 quoting Crime number 42/177 740/23.

URGENT WARNING! PLEASE SHARE.
It now appears that another dog has fallen victim to poisoning and has sadly lost it's life.
Please be extra vigilant when out with your dogs, in and around the Heybridge, Maldon area, and if you see anyone acting suspiciously, please call the police.

This is happening along the estuary wall from Mill Beach to Heybridge. I've marked roughly where on the maps.

Our beautiful Bruna died yesterday after suffering terribly for four days. She had eaten something which contained a highly toxic substance on her daily walk along the area between the river and the Lakes at the bottom of Battle Rise.
There is a grassy triangle about 30 yards after the first red poo bin. Something poisonous had been put there. The track to the left goes thru to the area where men fish on a regular basis, night and day.
We have walked our dogs here for many years - all dogs occasionally scavenge; some can be sick, but this was far, far worse. I know another lady has posted that her dog was on an IV after walking in the same area. I don’t know if her dog is still alive . . .
This matter is under police investigation - it is being taken very seriously. So if you shed any light on this, or have had anything happen to your pet in this area, the Essex Police are waiting to hear from you.
PLEASE do not hesitate - it could cost another precious animal or child their life. To say nothing of the heartbreak and grief that this ga caused.
