Whilst not loosing our previous Christmas magic, upon arriving our friendly Elves will greet you and point you in the right direction to start your magical Christmas journey at our zoo.

The zoo will be lit from start to finish with all of our festive lights. Your mission will be to find Rudolph along the way whilst meeting some of his festive friends.🦌🎄🔴

PLEASE NOTE: Booking is required for all participating children in advance, under 2's go free. Limited tickets available.
Spectators pay on the day. 💸 £10.95 per adult.

The 1 hour booking time slot you choose is for your visit to Santa, you have unlimited time in the zoo itself. Example: if you book a 2pm time slot, you will be given a confirmed time on the day of arrival between 2pm and 3pm to meet the big man himself🎅🎄⏰️

❗️📣Please note you may wait up to 90 minutes to see Santa within your booked time slot on busier days📣❗️

Booking slots start from 10am each day. 🕙

-Meerkat Meet & Greet ( 5 minutes ) this is for a photo opportunity - £5 per person

A variety of snacks and delicious stone baked pizzas can be purchased on the day🍕🍫
Hot & cold drinks available too, don’t leave before trying one of our delicious Hot Chocolate’s. ☕️🫖🥛

Please note: The Event goes ahead come rain or shine, this is a partly indoor mostly outdoor event. We have a barked path & will try to provide customers with umbrellas where possible.

1) Your tickets are non refundable under all circumstances.��
2) Your date cannot be changed.��
3) Your ticket cannot be transferred to any other person.
4) Please note that you are allocated a time to see Santa on arrival - the time you have booked is not the time you see him - please note that on quieter days you can wait up to one hour from your arrival and on busier days up to 90 minutes. Please be patient and please remember that verbal abuse of any kind towards our team will not be tolerated and may lead to you being asked to leave the zoo.
5) Please note that the car park can be busy at times so please do give your self plenty of time. Please note that the car park is managed by Maldon District Council and is pay and display.

Hi my names Mowgli, I’m a kinkajou but most commonly known as a honey bear! I’m nocturnal so I spend all day sleeping before coming out in search for food!

You find my species throughout the tropical forests of southern and Central America. We are nicknamed the honey bear due to our love of honey, we have been known to raid bee hives for their honey! 🍯 🐻 Asides from my love for honey, my diet mainly consists of fruit as I am a fruigivore!

Tomorrow Friday 5th July marks 3 years since our tragic fire. Zoo will be partially open to viewing only and as a mark of respect closed between 12-2pm.

We will be doing a reading & laying some flowers, well wishers are welcome.

Proud moment for Jay Jay today, most of you will know that Jay Jay has been working at our zoo since 2017, and today he gave us the honour of accompanying him to his Prom.

We are having this done regardless as he is a lovely happy chap, we are reaching out to our lovely followers and asking for help if you can with these vet costs.
