We won a BIBA! For the last 9 months, RJ & AP have been delivering ‘The Children’s Charity’ - a project that our RJ8 boffins believe will solve mental illness in young people.

We let the kids run the show! The kids all have jobs, and THEY come up with what helps them. They tell us what to do, instead of us, constantly telling them.

These pair deliver one complex, crazy and wonderful strategy - but they can’t deliver it alone. We have a whole team of experts, trustees, volunteers and guiding lights that made this incredible win come true.

Thank you Ribblesdale High School & Blessed Trinity Catholic Church - not just for giving us your children to make our vision come to life, but your support and belief in our work.

This support package will be available to all employees, and their families across our company and the wider Craggs Energy group. It'll contain unlimited access to face-to-face, telephone or video call counselling for a wide range of concerns.
In addition, access is provided for financial, legal and medical emergencies as well as training.

In week one of ‘The Children’s Charity’ our young people are asked ‘what is mental health?’

Our little superstar, Connie.. summed it up perfectly.
‘How are you feeling?’

Be a little more ‘Connie’ tomorrow. Ask someone ‘how are you feeling?’ Because asking that one simple question, could be the difference in someone handling their mental health and reaching for support and becoming mentally unwell.

In other news. Connie is also our ‘head of fundraising’ - so watch out for one very adorable 11 year old asking for your cash to fund their projects soon!

2021 was A YEAR and then some! We couldn’t have done it without such incredible support and we’re beyond excited to return in 2022. We already have new adventures lined up, free counselling and new challenges that we can’t wait to tackle head on. We’ve only just begun! ❤️🎄

RJ has been pretty open that her mental health hasn’t been great lately, but this was her today. Even on your worst day, there’s always hope.

A word from RJ…

‘The lifeblood of small charities are members of the general public who find it in their hearts to ask their friends and family for money, in exchange for them doing something often extreme and mentally challenging.
What I can tell you is that whilst many opt to raise money for the larger charities, the little ones like ours desperately need your support. We may only be small, but we’re damn right mighty. Small amounts of money go an incredibly long way with us, we don’t have extreme overheads and we’re committed to making sure the hard work, dedication and financial support shown by the public directly impacts our community.
For only £50 we can cover one person to have private mental health care for a whole year. Meaning they have no NHS waiting lists, they have somewhere to turn when they need it the most and they get superior care.
Today, the very first person who pledged to raise money for TRIBE runs the London Marathon.
It seems very fitting that the first person to pledge their support to us is someone I’ve had in my life for god knows how many years…. Shelley.
Shelley is always there for my good times, we have a barrel of laughs, but the best qualities I see in her is stability, dedication and loyalty. Making her a perfect ambassador for TRIBE. She is quite literally a running definition of everything we stand for!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Shell. This means the world to us and I’m incredibly proud to have your support. You will be epic, as you always are. We’re with you all the way, now, and forever x’
