Ramadan Appeal 2024 🌙

After a longer than expected break, TKG is back with another Ramadan campaign.

This year we have partnered up with who are raising funds for a brand-new Ambulance to assist with the urgent medical needs on the ground in Gaza.

We will be selling a LIMITED number of Knafah Cakes and Knafah Trays every Friday and Saturday in Ramadan (& Eid)

Availability will be posted every Tuesday and we will be operating as a first come first serve basis.

Orders will be ready to collect on Friday and Saturday between 2-4pm.

Ramadan Mubarak 🌙

This Ramadan we'll be donating 100% of our earnings to the Refugee Crisis Foundation to support the Rohingya Family Project.

Food packs costs £30 and include a variety of food including rice, lentils, oil and salt.

Just donating £60 will feed a Syrian/Palestinian family for one month.

We don’t even think twice when paying this much at a restaurant for a meal for 2!

We fly back to the UK tomorrow and really want to hit our £17,500 target.

Day One - Jordan Deployment

We started the day packaging food parcels with essential items to hand out.

Soon after we visited a distribution centre where we were met with many women and children who were relying on the food parcels we had made earlier.

We finished the day with house visits to a few different families, where we were able listen to their stories and understand how we could help this with their immediate problems. Many of these were medical issues or financial strain to which we handed cash donations to.

None of this could be possible without your generosity and we urge you to keep on donating.

This Ramadan we will be donating ALL of our Knafah earnings to Human Relief Foundation to provide humanitarian aid including food packs, clothes and fuel to Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

For the last 10 years the civil war in Syria has displaced millions of people. The vast majority have sought refuge on the Syria/Lebanon border with little hope of returning home and limited resources to start a new life.

With this in mind, we hope that you can help us to raise £10,000 this year. We don't expect to achieve this through Knafah sales in Ramadan alone, but we hope that you will all donate generously and remember that this project is Zakaat eligible.
