Happy Hallowe’en!!!!
Having sat with the girls tonight over dinner discussing the Halloween tunes on the playlist, I decided we needed to do a blatant Halloween song to catch some streaming numbers…
Then I realised that we did indeed to a Halloween tune a few years back, but I guess by making it a disco homage-cum-pastiche and naming it for an obscure French film director doesn’t make it so blatant!

NEW RELEASE: The next release on Dakota Records is the tasty new EP from Leeds’ Deathtrippers. The HIGHER E.P. features lead track ‘Higher (Forever Celestial)’, a luscious remix of the song taken from their second LP ‘Passion & Fire’, along with new songs ‘Desire’, ‘Lose Myself In You’, ‘Energy Flow’, the original album version of ‘Higher’ and a cover of The 13th Floor Elevator’s 1967 single ‘She Lives (In A Time Of Her Own)’. The CD is strictly limited edition.
Release date is 10th October 2024, and all copies come with a download code.
Note: The very limited 7” lathe cut single (Sold out) will be shipping out later this week.

Couple of little updates for you!
The Deathtrippers limited 7” pre-order is now sold out! We are working with the band on the deluxe extended CD version of the single, so watch this space for finalized track listing and updated artwork. Trust me, this is gonna be a cracking release and sets the scene for their next LP…
For those of you who ordered the new The March Violets CD from us, we got confirmation this morning that the stock is now shipped to us. Apologies for the slight delay, we were reassured shipping close to 19th July, but seems that was a little optimistic. We’ll give you a heads up once we get dates and prices for the vinyl option, but as a US import we think it’ll be close to the £30 mark. But, let’s face it, still worth it since it’s a beautiful piece of work!

We are delighted to announce that one of Leeds' coolest bands, Deathtrippers, are releasing their next single on Dakota Records. There will be a strictly limited vinyl edition of the release, which is available to pre-order now. Limited to just 20 copies, this is a lathe-cut 7" version featuring the glorious remix of Higher (taken from their Passion & Fire LP) and backed with a version of The 13th Floor Elevators' song She Lives (In A Time Of Her Own).
