Wow what a week! Such a mixture of emotions. I was so excited to show my new work and exhibit among so many amazing makers. But at the same time I was really upset to leave baby Rose for 6 days and super stressed about driving through central London in my big van. It was a really great event by @futureiconsselects , I really felt like I've found my audience and was so inspired by everyone else showing. A big sale and loads of amazing conversations later I'm feeling super positive about the direction I'm heading. #futureicons #furnituremaker #furnituremaking #designer

Next stop on the bench build is to flatten the top ready for a lifetime of good work. The Larch Pine I picked up was all different sizes so this isn't the easiest job but it's a lot of fun. I'll never get tired of the sound of the scrub plane taking its wood shavings. Who needs the gym hey?!
