Jade's second maintenance session on her baby dreads, like us they tend to be a little more wild while they are young but they will mature with time and will someday look after themselves a little better! Your first few maintenance sessions are the most important in your dreadlock journey, be sure to pamper them babies!

So I have started taking mobile dreadlock appointments, what better than having a professional tidy up on your own sofa every few months and a healthy neat set of dreadlocks! I use crochet hook method and usually take anywhere from 3-6 hours to do a full head of maintenance and a little more for new dreadlocks! I also offer hair de matting and dreadlock removal, Message me if you'd like any of my services

Claire's awesome dreadhawk is coming along amazingly considering how short her hair was when we started 2 months ago! We added some ombre extensions to 32 dreadlocks and for a dreadhawk she has some volume 😎

These baby dreadies had come loose and began going wild before crocheting them back into their place and tightening them! It can be difficult to keep baby dreads firm and secure with this hair type, which is why many people with afro hair prefer interlocking ! However with regular maintenance and tight roots you can have healthy corcheted locs which will grow into a thick and full mane! 🦁 Message me for bookings !

While I was scrolling through the old etsy store that I created when I was a teenager, I saw the most recent bio was when I was 18 studying plumbing in college. It was so crazy to read and made me realise I was around 15/16 when I started making dreads, and it's been almost 10 years of Dreadful minds being my passion since! Amazing news! 🌱 I AM WAY MORE EXCITED THAN I WAS WHEN I TOOK THIS. April 12 is the date we COULD be back in business fully! I've decided to go ahead and start doing some custom orders to post to you guys THIS MONTH! This means custom orders for your natural dreadlcck extensions, and braid in synthetic dread sets (like what I'm wearing here 💚) Enquiries and bookings for face to face appointments will be sorted through mid April!

Argh I'm so happy even at the thought of returning to Dreadful minds! First come first basis, pleasee bare with me as I will be rushed off my feet :D competition to kick start everything coming this weekend for the chance to have a FREE set of dreadlocks! Good luck 🍀💚.

I'd just like to thank you all for your patience on updates! 💚 I've been waiting on the restrictions in Manchester to be eased again so that we can go into each others home, as I'm doing home appointments currently!
It looks at the moment like Manchester is still on lockdown hopefully not for too much longer. The guidelines are very unclear but I wouldn't want to risk my clients going against their local guidelines so I am having to again reschedule my appointments for in a few weeks time!

it really is such a difficult time for me to book people in with these restrictions in place :( I will keep you all updated as much as I can, any refunds will be processed in 2 weeks time! Hope you understand, sending love from Dreadful Minds x
