Calling all fans of The Mancunian. Come and meet his creators at Sale Christmas Comic Con on Saturday December 7th.

We are delighted to announce that Sale Christmas Comic Con will feature some top Comic book writers and artists including Dan Whitehesd, Barry Renshaw, Neil Roche and Colin Mathieson.

On Sunday 27 October come and enjoy a free family fun day out at Halloween Spooky Con.

You can find us located in Urmston Library from 11am.

Stanley Square will be hosting it's second Comic Con event where you can expect lots of exciting props from the World of film, TV and comics.
Wow Enterprises have already secured some exciting guests and props that we will be announcing over the next couple of Months.

Our first Comic Con Events was so popular that we just had to get another arranged and what better time than in the run up to Christmas!

We are very pleased to announce a new date for your diary......... Halloween Spooky Con on Sunday 27th October.

This is a free family fun day out running from 11am until 3pm in the fantastic Urmston Library.

The new logo for Sale Christmas Comic Con by cartoonist Rick Eades. Rather splendid we think.

We are delighted to announce that Beano artists Nigel Parkinson and Nika Nartova are joining us for Sale Christmas Comic Con. Bring this years Beano album along and get it signed.

The Christmas list is growing. We are very pleased to say Phil Fletcher and Hacker The Dog will be joining us for Sale Christmas Comic Con on Saturday 7 December.

Next up on the Christmas list is cartoonist Rick Eades. You can meet Rick at Sale Christmas Comic Con on Saturday 7 December.

We had a great day out at Hyde Comic Con last weekend. Nice to get Wow Comix back out with the public and also a chance to catch up with some old friends.

You will not need a ticket for the Wow Comix and Colin Mathieson pop up shops but you will for the Rick Eades workshop. Booking details via Eventbrite or on the Trafford Libraries Website.

There has been a lot of interest in the two workshops and so we have decided to make them ticketed events.

If you are planning to come for the workshops please book via the Trafford Libraries Website. Click on the What is happening/Events page where you can find full booking details.

There is no need to book for the Pop up shops which will be open from 10.30 until 3.30.

On Wednesday 31 July Wow Comix will be holding a pop up comic shop at Urmston Library. We will be open from 10.30 until 3.30.

You will also be able to see cartoonist Rick Eades who will be holding a cartoonist workshop for kids and comic writer & artist Colin Mathieson.

Wow Comix will be back on sale in Sale for one day only next week. Come and see us down at Sale Library from 10.30 on Tuesday 30 July.

We are very pleased to say that with our good friends at Trafford Libraries we are presenting two workshops with local cartoonist Rick Eades.

Rick will be presenting a workshop at both locations on consecutive days giving an insiders view on cartooning and comics as well as some crucial advice on how to draw cartoons.

This is a free to enter event. Pens, pencils, paper, card etc will be provided.

What's new for Wow Comix and Events now that Sale and Bury Comic Conventions are done?

Well the first thing we can tell you about is Hyde Comic Con on Saturday 10th August at Clarendon Square Shopping Centre.

We will be there as guests, loaded down with comics, grab bags, graphic novels, full sets and rarities. Come along for what promises to be a fun day out.
