New Emergency Bleed Control Kit for the community! Today 28/08/24 we have installed a new Emergency Bleed Control Kit Cabinet outside Asda in Harpurhey precinct for the community. This can be used by any member of the public with guidance from a 999 call operator to provide potentially lifesaving care to a patient with heavy bleeding. While we hope....
Did you know that high blood pressure usually has no symptoms? You could be one of millions living with high blood pressure without knowing it. Left untreated, high blood pressure can significantly increase your risk of a fatal heart attack, stroke, kidney disease or vascular dementia.

If you have pain in your mouth, teeth or gums, contact your – but if your dentist is closed, or you don’t have a regular dentist, call the Greater Manchester Urgent Dental Care Service on 0333 3323800 to be assessed by a healthcare professional.
They can provide self-care or safe pain relief advice, or book a face-to-face appointment.
The service is appointment only and doesn’t offer a drop-in service or routine care or check-ups.
There’s an NHS patient charge of £26.80 for each appointment but it’s free to children.

In June 2024, a whopping 73,968 GP appointments were missed across Greater Manchester.
It’s really important to remember that if you have an appointment at your GP practice, or any other NHS Service you no longer need, please cancel it, even if it is a few minutes before. Cancelling your unwanted appointment means that other patients can be seem more quickly. Get in touch with your GP practice to cancel or reschedule.
There is currently a national issue with EMIS, the GP practice clinical computer system. This will affect GP practices ability to book and consult with patients. We will update patients when we can, and apologise for any disruption.
Unless you are contacted by your GP practice, you should attend your appointment as normal.
