The Assembly

This will be the last weekend of the assembly as you have known it since November 2019. The issues and accusations you may have seen on social media will be resolved once and for all next week. Discussions are ongoing with the landlord of the premises regarding a new lease and really hope we can get this over the line.

We have temporary licences in place and the landlord is aware.

Contrary to reports on instagram and twitter it’s still business as usual here at the moment and right through until 10pm tonight. We will be showing the football later on and a couple of new beers have also hit the taps from Cloudwater and Track.

We have been locked out of the assembly twitter and insta accounts and the allegations there will be put to bed soon enough, we’re just not rising to it.

DIPA fans, a new one has just gone on from North Brewing Co. Globe Earth, definitely not flat (👀) and packs a creamy, citrusy punch at 8.0%

This lovely little number from Sureshot Brewing has just hit the taps. Small Man’s Wetsuit is a 3.9% hazy pale. It’s not going to hang around for long...

Unfortunately we have an issue which means we’re unable to open this evening.

It should go without saying but baby/make up wipes (even if they say flushable) & sanitary items cannot be flushed down toilets.

Closure for at least one evening and rectifying the issues caused will now cost us hundreds of pounds at a time we, like every hospitality business could do without.

Let’s just not flush things down toilets that don’t belong there ✌️

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll be renewing our untappd account. After switching the account over to another venue during our covid closure they now want to charge us almost double to bring it back. It was pricey already but this is completely unaffordable.

We’ll be trying to make as much effort as possible to post regular tap change updates whilst we find a new option.
