Incredible trajectory for engagement and effectiveness in mail since 2022, and it's really exciting to see that the engagement boost from 2020 and 2021 has continued.

The lifespan of Door Drops has also been growing. 2022-2023 it grew by 10.9% year on year, with retail and online retail Door Drops particularly contributing to this trend by recording their highest longevity in the home for two years.

This is something that obvously we at LDM are very passionate about. Even though the materials we use for marketing strategies are recyclable, the sustainablity of print marketing is something we have to fight to prove. In fact, we partner with the Two Sides Campaign to help combat greenwashing, and bust myths around the sustainability of paper.

Paper is one of the most recycled products in the world, optimising on the circular economy model, to reuse, reduce and recycle. And digital communications have a long way to go to catch up, with just 17.4% of global e-waste being collected for recycling in 2019.
