Back in Manchester this Saturday night for a very special show at Hidden with Homoelectric - a club which has kindly invited to be part of its parties since 2004.

Those 20 years have made plenty of great memories for me, one of which was the invition me to be part of their final party at Legends in 2012 on the night it was shut down. the resident Djs are great and very different to each other, and it’s a joy to play alongside them, I believe in Luke Una (pictured behind me here) and greatly admire him as a Dj, plus my Glastonbury was all the better for spending most of it with him and Amy. I’m honoured they are marking my presence at the club in such a way.

Also, there are 4 Dj mixes recorded live at Homoelectic in some form, all up on my ready to sreama: The set from the closing party at Legends, a recording from 2018, the charity stream during COVID where folk on Twitter thought the record collection behind me was a Zoom wallpaper, as well as B2B with Ivan Smagghe from Homobloc at THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT in 2019.

Erol has played for Homoelectric in Manchester 6 times over the last 20 years starting in 2004 - 20 years ago!

He was secret guest DJ at the last ever party at Legends before it was bulldozed which goes down in the history books and been guest for us at countless festivals and the famous Stay Homo lockdown stream.

We are celebrating this with 20 years of Erol Alkan with the rest of the Homoelectric crew at Hidden on July 6th.

All Homoelectric New Century NYE 31.12.23 tickets holders please note -

Doors will close at 23:50 and re-open at 00:10 on NYE. No customers will be permitted entry within this time in order to allow staff to bring in the New Year, so all ticket holders must arrive in plenty of time to make sure they are in the venue.

Doors open at 10pm - 4.00. Box closes at 1.30am
There is a cloakroom. There are several bars open so you can wander around the venue freely using the Hall and downstairs cocktail bar.
