I’m so relieved, but a little nervous to say I launched my Shopify site over the weekend! It’s far from perfect and I will spend the next few weeks improving it, but I’ve managed to get all 114 products online 💪🏻

I launched it at 10am on Saturday, as I was one of 250 makers taking part in the Super Seconds Festival and I'm so grateful for all the orders I received! I can’t explain how happy I am every time my phone pings with a new order and the excitement I felt when I got my very first order at 10.02am ❤️❤️❤️

I thought I'd share some photos from 29th June at StationeryFest, where I officially launched my product business, Peb & Reg!

The event was incredible and I was thrilled to have sales from people who weren't my friends or family! I met so many like minded people and had an absolute blast catching up with my small business pals and making new friends with my neighbouring stallholders!

I'm already looking for my next market, making plans to launch my Shopify website and Etsy and trying to find stockists for my products. If I can launch a whole business in 2 months, I wonder what crazy goal I can achieve next! ❤️

My new business is called Peb & Reg, named after my Grandpa, Reginald and my Granny, Evelyn, who was affectionately known as "Peb.” Peb & Reg will be a no-occasion brand, featuring cute illustrations and motivational messages to help people celebrate small moments. I hope my products enable my customers to share positivity with loved ones and also encourage daily self-care.

It's been an intense few months and I have product orders arriving daily at the moment! I will be selling greeting cards, postcards, washi tape, notepads, sticky notes, etc. I often use my art to brighten my days and I can't wait to share that joy with others too!

She now specialises in Shopify and Squarespace websites, primarily working with indie start-ups and small businesses and non-profits. She has worked with Drupal, Joomla, Kirby, WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, and Adobe Portfolio. Her work has been featured in web design magazines and books, and she has been a guest on branding and web design podcasts, as well as a speaker at local and national web design conferences. Two fun facts: She was once voted one of the Drum’s top 100 freelancers and had a Strictly Come Dancing fansite that used to rank higher than the BBC’s own website!

I've been in organisation mode over the last few weeks, trying to organise everything I've designed personally over the last 4-5 years. It's been a huge job and I'm amazed at how much work I've actually created! It's been really helpful to see everything and start deciding what characters and patterns, I'll take into my product business.

I'm working towards launching my product business in May but I wanted to remind everyone that I'm still freelancing during the day! I always joke that I'm like a cobbler with poor shoes, so I don't actually have a website but these are all the services I've been providing over the last year or so.

With 13 years of freelance experience, I've built a huge portfolio and had the pleasure of working with many clients and agencies. I enjoy working with like-minded indie businesses and non-profit organisations, offering flexibility for projects ranging from an hour to weeks or months. I don't have a niche; my focus is simply on creating great designs for lovely people.
