You know what’s funny? I look at this picture and see every ‘flaw’ I see the spot on my chin, my lippie bleeding into my fine lines, the 11 divots Inbetween my brows, the lines on my fod that keep multiplying and the pores on my nose that just won’t smooth out, I see the dark circles under my eyes I didn’t correct and I see the sideburns and flyaways because I didn’t set my hair down…be honest what did you notice first?

You know what I want to see when I look at my pictures? The cut of that crease, the blend of the eyeshadows, the lush lashes & the cute lip shade. I don’t know about you but I’m tired of feeling like I need to pinpoint every flaw or fault when in life we should be our main hype person.

This year is about learning to love myself, flaws and all. I’m human, I’m nearly 37 and it’s times to appreciate the small things. My face shows that I’ve laughed a lot (looking at you crows feet) my body has kept me alive and functioning even when I hated it, even when I ate more that I needed, even when my feet swell and my back aches, it still never failed me. Time to start respecting my body, nurturing my mind and have fun with life. We only get one, don’t waste it on putting yourself down 🥰
