In the beginning...
The design agency was set up by the former creative director, Nigel Daws, in 1999.
He set out to create an award-winning creative agency that focussed on combining thought-provoking creative and beautiful design that always engaged with the customer. As a small business, he continued to deliver high quality, award-winning creative, that quickly caught the eye of brands like Manchester United, Interflora, Virgin, 3i, Crowne Plaza and Radisson - and from there, he was able to move quickly to harness these clients’ requirements for both traditional, digital, whilst he also identifying a real need to build an award-winning brand asset management software solution for global brands that have to manage brand consistency across multiple locations.
Things certainly began to expand, when Managing Director, Jamie Watson, a former client of pixel8's, recognised the huge potential within the agency. Through a shared vision, values and purpose for pixel8, Nigel and Jamie joined forces to drive and develop pixel8 into the leading integrated marketing agency you see today.
