Next week we welcome a line up of debuts at the Majefa All Day Rave. One of these exciting debuts is DJ Gemma Arnott 🙌

Gemma was one of the original founders of Liverpool tour de force night 303 and has recently this summer supported Sasha, Joris Voorn and Henry Saiz in the city, so we’re in a solid set of hands for the big one next Saturday 🔥

Over the years we’ve had 100’s of local artists pass through the doors, though there’s one that we’ve had an eye on for a while and that’s Higgins.

We’ve been a fan of Stuart Higgins sets for years and we felt his style is perfect for the programming of our massive all dayer 2 weeks today.

He’ll be on warm duties getting the tone set for the big day ahead with his signature Prog style.

We have a long history in Manchester.

We’ve seen clubs come and go, Music Box, Sankeys, Sound Control, The Phoenix. All knocked down or turned into offices / apartments.

We launched when the smoking ban was introduced, when everything stunk and the dance floors decimated with everyone outside chin wagging (literally).

The 2008 financial crash and global economic meltdown, which hit the club scene hard.

We then had the pandemic which we needn’t say anymore on.

Even more recently is the cost of living crisis and the significant financial impact that has had on households up and down the country.

What’s the point we’re trying to make?

That despite whatever the world throws at the clubbing scene, we always will find a way to continue on the party 🙌

On Saturday 22nd July we’ll be bringing a huge production and sound rig into the 2 to transform the space for our massive all dayer.

This is one of our biggest parties to date and tickets are moving quickly, so if you’re planning on attending please get organised in advance as our last 3 shows have sold out.

Doors open at 2pm. You don’t have to worry about whether the Manchester weather is going to put a dampener on things as this is all indoors. No mingin’ portaloos to navigate either, as the academy has some of the best facilities you could wish for in a venue 🙌

Doors open at 2pm and we have programmed this to be a full on party from the moment you step in.
