Gone are the days when the Station Hop quiz was a tense, conflicted atmosphere where it felt like things could get a little bit spicy in a moment over a contested picture round…
Last month we saw genuine, tear-in-my-eye, heartwarming scenes when quiz team joined hand with rival quiz team in the spirit of merriment and positive vibes. The winning team (those lovely lot we describe as our “regulars”) donated their prize to their sporting, competitively close, runners up.

POV you finally found somewhere on the A6 showing ALL the Euros games so you can watch the Georgia game this Sunday 🤩

YEAH YOU READ THAT RIGHT! Station Hop is showing ALL OF THE EUROS! If you can’t wait for the Spain/Georgia fixture at 8PM this Sunday then you can scratch that itch because we’ll be showing the err… *checks notes* ENGLAND game at 5PM on Sunday as well as all the games tomorrow too I guess!

I don’t know if you’d heard but our resident competition conquering, contest claiming, home brewers won no less than 4 separate categories in the homebrew competition at earlier this year.

They were swiftly dispatched to several of our favourite breweries, including coming over to us here at Blackjack to recreate their recipes. 3 of these brewery produced beers then won Gold 🥇, Silver 🥈 and Bronze 🥉 at Stockport Beer Festival this weekend!

So in celebration, this Friday we’re having a big old knees up down here at Station Hop with the champion beers from & on tap so we can finally see what all the fuss is about!

This Thursday the unstoppable juggernaut of homebrew competitions, The Levenshulme Homebrew Club, are reconvening. After clearing up at the competition, these guys will be swinging by to share their concoctions and libations. If you’re interested in homebrewing, wanting to start out or are a seasoned zymologist then there’s space for you at the table.

You may choose to *ahem* elect a team leader but it’s not a requirement, all you need to do is turn up when the booths open (we don’t have booths, we have benches) and select what you believe to be the correct more suitable answer from the knowledge you have in your head to the question asked by our glorious leader Becki!
Spoiled answer sheets will not be counted.
