We still can’t get hold of Lindsay Lohan but we do have some seriously good new dishes added to our menu.

We receive at least 50+ of these a week! We haven’t replied to any of these overly kind requests for the last 10 years. So the ones that sends in a follow up with a ☺️ emoji to remind us to re-read the previously… then we suggest you to stop reading right now!
Here it goes… From what we see, we definitely both do have something in common. All that Gucci, LV + Prada stock you declare all over grid, and our food are definitely all from the Vietnamese market… and that’s as much in common as we have!
Therefore, please stop asking for “COLLABORATIONS” which was a word widely used by world saving, bare foot or flip flop wearing artists and philanthropists. But is now sadly a synonym used for FREE STUFF via social media.
We are a small family business, that’s just spent most our savings this year on a new toilet that flushes properly, new chairs + marble tables. The old Ikea ones was dissolved almost as fast as Lindsay Logan’s music career (yes, she released an album.. and yes, 1 track was actually decent, and yes that track is on our playlist… and so what? she was good in Mean Girls, and we all know y’all watched it recently on Netflix.)
In conclusion, STOP ASKING FOR FREE SH*T and just come help and support ya locals. Can’t you see there’s a crisis and there’s favourite spots closing down due to financial deficiencies?
The next time anyone sends us one of these requests, we shall not be using the erasing tool so expertly.
Ps, no offence to all other blue ticks, influencers, public figures or foodies that’s genuinely here just to eat and enjoy Lindsays Logan’s music, we love you and promise to start buying really good toilet roll instead of the medium ones that may make you flinch a bit!

A real winter-winner… Vietnamese fried rice with duck + chicken and an organ fried egg, Asian basil + homemade chilli oil.
Vietnamese food in the sunny cold weather. Not the best weather combination but we promise that our food tastes great with whatever you combine it with!

PHŌ XÀO - Our most requested dish is back and only available on our new lunch menu.
Wok stir-fry beef with flat rice noodles in our house sweet + spicy lime sauce, Asian veg and a generous amount of Vietnamese love!
Them fry sandwiches or cold leftover pasta lunches can go straight back into your over-folded Asda bag and get them extra few steps in and walk over to our brand new Shack with a 70’s vintage interior design.
Please wipe your muddy shoes before coming in… we have new floors and their trendy off-white coloured which leaves a lot of wet muddy footprints, that requires extra elbow grease from the staff that are all underpaid (but overly happy and all have passports!).

Just in case you’ve all forgotten about our O.G branch. It’s still alive and well, open everyday from 11:30am - 5:30pm. 📍 Arndale.
It’s pretty amazing to see that our shack fries is still very popular after serving them for over 5 years.

Opening Week
Based in the old Squid Ink site on Great Ancoats Street, the restaurant brings with it a loyal following from its humble beginnings as a stall in Manchester Arndale's food market. It was set up in 2014 by friends Nelson Lam, a former fashion stylist, and Leo Trần, an accountant.
“I had no cooking experience at all but I'm quite creative and I decided to cook up some favourite dishes and it was a big success,"
"We were just happy to have a little stall, we both still kept our day jobs and went part time in case it didn't work out but it just went mad."
It was about a year later that we realised the dream was to have a restaurant.
