The BIGGEST prize of the weekend goes to who has been crowned none other than *the* Lancashire & Cheshire Club Secretary of the Year 2023/24. A huge vindication of his pitch booking spreadsheet and delegation to his Assistant.

An incredible day at Prenton Park as we win a record 5th GFSN - Gay Football Supporters' Network Cup with a 4-0 victory over Charlton Invicta.

Players at all levels of the club have pulled together for this cup campaign with players from all teams 1 through 5 starting in nearly every game, so it’s a special one. Huge credit to Dewi & Danny who’ve led the side immaculately

Commiserations to Charlton Invicta FC, you brought a real test and we’ll certainly face you in more big games in the future.

The League seasons have finally wrapped for VMFC with the 3rds at a tropical Trinity. A defeat to a strong Bury side didn’t dampen a summery day out for the fans.

Now it’s eyes on the GFSN Cup Final next Saturday 👀

🏆 THE BIG ONE - GFSN CUP FINAL

We’ve reached the GFSN - Gay Football Supporters' Network Cup Final! Players from across the club will be facing Charlton Invicta FC at the incredible venue of Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park on Saturday 18th May.

The ground holds about 16,500 more fans than we usually get down at a weekend, so we need every fan we can get to fill it out. It’s just a short drive to Birkenhead for everyone who knows the club to come and bring as much noise as they can to cheer on the team.

🎩😱 A Pete Ransom hat trick

A strong end to the season for the 5ths as they recorded a third straight GFSN League win with a professional performance against Leftfooters to move them further into the top half.

It was the experienced hands of Pete and Hayes in the first half that got things up and running with some astute finishing. Despite marginal wobble just before half time the second half saw a great team performances full of pressure, final third interceptions and chances which extended the lead. For a man who specialises in hitting the ball as hard as he can rather than passing it, Josh Cadogan’s 5 assists was particularly satisfying.

A brilliant end to the season for the 6s as they wrapped up a 6-0 win over Mersey Marauders Football Club Development at the Academy.

Their biggest victory of the season in the regular tussles with Mersey, a fantastic performance from a side which have bonded together really well and made huge strides the past couple of months. Loads to come from these next year!
