We are writing to let you know that Ollie Andrew our business development rep has decided to move on to an opportunity outside of High Peak Steels.

His last day with the company was the 9th October 2024.

We wish Ollie the very best of luck with his chance of a lifetime move to Australia to play cricket.

This week we went into the sales office and sat down with Alisha to ask her some questions in order to get to know her better, this is how it went...

An interesting fact about yourself: I travelled to New Zealand on my own when I was 17 and worked as a builder’s apprentice (admittedly I turned some heads at the timber merchants)


If you could only eat 1 meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Toasted steak & mozzarella paninis with sweet potatoes fries


What is your favourite part of your job? The people and the relationships I have built over my time here. I have made friends for life whilst being at HPS


Where do see yourself in 10 years’ time? Realistically doing the school run with a messy bun however in a dream world I would like to be living on a farm adopting / taking in stray dogs and giving them the best life possible


What is your irrational fear? The grinch – it should be classed as a horror film in my opinion


If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 items would you want with you? My dog, a hammock and a knife

817M40T | EN24 is a very high strength steel alloy which is supplied hardened and tempered ideal for gears

The grade is a 1.5% nickel chromium molybdenum combination

Our stock range of this alloy steel grade starts from 1/2" diameter and goes as big as 500 diameter with the capability of buying in bigger sizes for specific jobs
