The concept of the beacon informs a subtle and refined sense of movement in the logo, cutting through the fog. Navigational symbols create a clear sense of direction for members as they explore what the space has to offer.

For us, sketching and model making are such key parts of the early design process. These hands-on methods let us play around with ideas, visualise spaces better, and fine-tune the details before diving into digital tools. It helps us really get a feel for the form, texture, and proportion of a space, so when we move to the digital side, everything feels more thoughtful and inspired. It’s a great way to keep the creativity flowing while staying grounded in design basics.

At the start of a new design concept, gathering materials is essential especially when luxury and sustainability meet. Today’s luxury isn’t just about opulence; it’s about responsibly sourced materials, eco-friendly finishes, reclaimed wood, and recycled textiles.

Guided by neuroaesthetics, we carefully select textures and colors that not only look beautiful but evoke calm, focus, and energy. The result is a balanced design that speaks to both the senses and the planet, creating a space where aesthetics and well-being intertwine.

A Manchester based florist with attitude! We wanted to create a contemporary brand that captures the essence of boldness, energy, and fun. Ready to make an impression and cut through the noise.

Taking inspiration from its rural surroundings and expansive views over the Yorkshire Dales, the scheme will celebrate the sites rich character whilst injecting moments of fun and wonder.

Good design in a bedroom fosters relaxation and enhances well-being, making it a true sanctuary for rest.

The sleeping quarters in the cottage embrace it’s rustic charm and sturdy features - with nordic-style panelling creating a cosy and warm atmosphere in which to unwind.

Silhouettes of Kenji’s ‘Tiny-K’ characters are used to form a lively and dynamic pattern, adding a sense of fun and energy to the marketing. Using these shapes ensures the brand remains enduring and adaptable alongside the plush characters as they evolve over time.

Our central installation is inspired by the Tiny-K characters from the game. In our original sketches, Polly Pig took centre stage, yet as the scheme developed The Trafford Centre became the home to Oppy the frog. Swipe to see the evolution.

In our scheme for the store our material palette was inspired by the characters within the universe, yet suitable for a fast paced and high energy retail environment.

As technology in some factories advances the size and quality, other manufacturers continue to specialise in small crafted or detail oriented production - which we love!

Scouting out both modern and traditional factories around Valencia to learn more about process whilst geeking out on the possibilities we can achieve in future schemes!

Last week Archie tile gave us the opportunity to discover Valencia’s wonderful world of tile manufacturing in the province of Castelloón. The process driven and thoughtful factories were a feast for our eyes!

Simple details , bringing to life the calm and simple Arnos of the brand.

A 'refuge' is a principal for Biophilic design; a place for withdrawal from the main flow of activity, where the individual is protected from overhead and from behind.
These spaces provide a feeling of safety, retreat and withdrawal for work, protection, rest and healing. They can feel contemplative, embracing and protective.

At our Manchester Piccadilly scheme, the mindfulness suite offers hotel visitors a space to unwind and recuperate. A tiered upholstered seating arrangement faces the skyline, connecting users with the outside world from a position of refuge.

In a similar vein, these embracing Nest Chairs from offer users a cocooning seating option with acoustic properties, allowing them a moment of quiet necessity within a more active space.
