It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce we will be closing this Saturday 31st August at 6pm. 😢

We have tried to negotiate a new lease with the new owners of Urmston Service Station without success.

They have recently stated they wish to operate their own Car Wash hence we need to respect their wishes and vacate the premises after Saturday.

We have been working hard to try and find new premises locally to satisfy our established customer base and for our loyal staff hence we are reaching out to the local community / customers to ask if you know of any potential sites / premises that may suit a Car Wash operation to please get in touch?? 🙏🤞🚘💦

We wish to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for your unwavering support and loyalty over the past 6 years!! 🙏 ❤️❤️❤️

Urmston has such an amazing community spirit 😍👏that we have personally experienced and seen so many examples online where the local people really support their local businesses so passionately, you really do care. ❤️

We have faced many challenges over the years from Covid, constant sabotage from other car washes, noise nuisance complaints, cost of living, utilities doubling, and a fire 🔥 thrown in for good measure! 🤪😅🤦‍♂️

But we came through those obstacles simply because of you, the loyal customer! You kept us going. ❤️

You came in consistently to support us and would say exactly that, we hope you are ok, we really appreciate you, we are here to support you! 😍❤️🙏 such Incredible support and kindness that i will never ever forget.

I have got to know so many of our customers over the years that i can call you my friends.

We are aware that we have customers who have paid for 12m contracts for Washes or Valets at some point so please do not worry, if we do not see you this week just email us at [email protected]

A full valet was carried by Soapy Joe’s Hand Car Wash Myka & the Team last week on the classic T-reg Landrover that the customer had bought which had mould and heavy dirt throughout. Over the Full Day we carried out the following services:

1) Wash to the body / alloy wheels ✅
2) Thorough Hoover ✅
3) Full attention to detail on all Plastics ✅
4) Full attention to detail on all Glass ✅
5) Roof Lining markings removed ✅
6) All leather seats deep cleaned and protection added. ✅
7) All footwells / boot carpet deep cleaned. ✅
8 ) Autoglym Super Resin Polish applied to the body and buffed off by hand using a micro fibre cloth. ✅
9) Silicone spray applied to all hard plastics inc the faded bumpers / plastic trims. ✅
10 ) Alloy wheels cleaned thoroughly. ✅
11) Tyre Shine applied. ✅
12) Soapy Joes Air Freshener ✅

What a difference a week makes! 🙏

Last Thursday after the fire it would have been easy to close the car wash until we had got everything sorted.

But we made the conscious decision to stay open in a very small capacity, mainly to communicate to the customers who drove in that didnt know what had happened, some live further afield, some are not on social media.

Some drive past every day on their way to work and would see us open.

Every day behind the scenes we were working hard around the clock to get a step closer to getting back to full capacity! 🙌

A massive thank you to my staff who rolled up their sleeves, got stuck in, helped re-paint everywhere we needed to and in general got their hands dirty doing loads of jobs required for us to bounce back quickly, stronger than before in between doing valets 👊👏😍

A huge thank you to all the local tradesmen, electricians, plumbers, waste removal, joiners who literally dropped everything and removed /repaired the damages within days was incredible to witness! 🙌

And last but not least a heart felt thank you to you the customers for all your genuine concerns and well wishes for our staff and for us to get back open ASAP the messages of support online and face to face has been overwhelming and its shows once again what an amazing community Urmston / Stretford have and further afield, we know how lucky we are to have such caring customers! 🙏❤️

Therefore, we are very excited to confirm we are ready to hit the ground running tomorrow Saturday 1st July at full capacity once again with lots of smiling staff 😃 on hand to serve our wonderful customers!! 😍😍😍👏👏👏

⭐️ Large Car Price - £9 Wash - 10% discounted nett price = £8.10 ✅

⭐️ 4x4 / Truck Price - £10 Wash - 10% discounted nett price = £9 ✅

Soapy Joe started offering 20% NHS discount when we re-opened after the lockdown to show our appreciation to all the amazing Nurses who worked so tirelessly throughout the pandemic to save lives 😷 💙❤️ 👼 so we decided to run it for 1 year because our NHS nurses are always working so hard! 😍😍😍

Then we decided we keep it going for a 2nd year…and then for a 3rd year but with the rising costs we have had to absorb over the past 12 months and going forward im afraid it has simply become unsustainable to continue the discount ☹️ after the 30th April.

We have started informing our NHS customers as they visit us about this change and they have been very nice & grateful for the length of time we have run the offer. 😘
