Showcasing over 55 fabulous local business’s, with live music, free kids crafting, face painting and even a bubble artist.

Following the successful trial in 2023 the Makers Market is delighted to be working with Wythenshawe Civic Centre and Manchester Council to create the Wythenshawe Makers Market, showcasing talented local makers, bakers, artists and designers from the area.

We are thrilled to bring this event to the Civic centre and for it to become an integral part of the Wythenshawe community calendar. This community market will be a great opportunity to shop unique, treat yourself and loved ones, and bring the community together!

There will be 55 specialist stalls selling the very finest food, drink, arts and craft plus street food, live music and entertainment for little market visitors.

MAKERS MARKET SET TO TAKE PLACE TWICE A MONTH IN PRESTON!
We are thrilled to announce that the Makers Market is set to be staged twice each month in Preston city centre, from August!
Continuing to take place on the second Saturday of each month on the Flag Market, the Makers Market will now also take place on the newly-revitalised Friargate Brow, on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Vicky Crane of the Makers Market, said: “Prestonians have really taken the Makers Market to their heart, for which we’re really grateful.
“We run the events right across the North West, with Preston being one of our most successful locations, which has led to us growing the market and introducing a second date and location, each month, which we’re incredibly excited about.
Preston BID, responsible for bringing the Makers Market to Preston, said: “Preston’s long-cherished tradition with market trading has meant that this brilliant event can now happen twice per month, thanks to the support of visitors, local businesses, and traders.
“Working with partners, and businesses on Friargate, we’ve been really keen to explore opportunities for more event activity on the newly created space, and the Markers Market is the perfect catalyst for this.
The first date on Friargate will be Saturday 31st of August. Any small businesses interested in joining us please contact [email protected]. We can’t wait Preston 🫶

The Makers Market is coming to Tarporley!

Launching on Sunday 18th of August and the third Sunday there after, the Tarporley Makers Market will be positioned in the heart of the Village, in the grounds of the Swan.

The Tarporley Makers Market will be a highly curated market, celebrating the very best Cheshire talent.

Victoria Crane director of the Makers Market says ‘working alongside the local businesses in Tarporley we are excited to bring you an eclectic mix of Cheshires finest artists, makers, bakers and designers, all to the soundtrack of local singers.
Tarporley you are in for a real treat!
This is a great opportunity to shop small, support local based makers, bakers, chefs, artists, collectors and designers and shop unique. Come and join us, soak up the atmosphere and support our small independent businesses whilst also enjoying the vibrant Tarporley high street.‘
