UpDated Coffee Bar

Regrettably I have to announce the permanent closure of the UpDated Coffee Bar.

Unfortunately, due to my physical and mental health, I am currently unable to continue working the way i have been doing.

In addition, my Landlord, who has been very supportive during our stay (especially in recent months), has made the decision to sell the building.

In light of the above, I am are looking to sell all of our equipment to interested parties. If you are interested in purchasing any equipment, please reach out to us via direct message for more information - I will be making a list of what we have in due course.

I want to thank our loyal customers for their support over the last five and a half years......

I have truly appreciated your patronage and even more so, appreciate the friends I have made along the way.

A quick update as I've received so many messages and comments.....

I'm struggling to cope having to spin so many plates at the moment and my Blood Pressure has shot up.

I went do the doctors after leaving the Coffee Bar yesterday morning and they sent me to Hospital as my Blood Pressure was very high.

I was there until 3:15am and I've been back to my doctors this morning for a prescription to get my Blood Pressure tablets.

Stress and anxiety is not doing me any favours either.

I'm going to have to sell the Coffee Bar and get a job as its becoming virtually impossible to make ends meet at home which is adding to our problems.

I'm just letting everyone know that I'm really not feeling too well at the moment and I've taken the decision to close until I feel better.

I may need to sell the business.

Yesterday I was given a Christmas card.

The difference between this one and the others I have received took me by surprise and made my eyes well up.....

The card was signed by an awful lot of our regular customers and there was a gift inside with instructions to enjoy myself.

Thankyou hardly covers how I feel but thankyou all the same.

We still can't open today [Monday 4th] but will reopen Tuesday 5th - Sorry we've been closed.

It's hard to run a business right now but it really makes you wonder is it worth it when our Gazebos, Tables & Chairs are vandalised overnight.

The plastic canopies will be replaced by the Gazebo Company but I'm responsible for the tables and chairs, which I can not afford to replace with new ones.

Suffice to say the Tables & Chairs will not be staying outside of an evening and over the weekend any longer so apologies if you used them during that time.

Let's hope the CCTV in Middleton Gardens can provide the Police with evidence to apprehend the culprits.
