This dress is one I wear all year round & when I say that I really mean every season!
Now the summer pic should mean open toe strappy sandals & no jacket perhaps accessorised with lots of freckles & a real tan but we roll.. however this photo does serve a purpose showing that with closed toe Espadrilles’s & a linen blazer it can work for either the spots at the end of spring or summer ( or just June 2024 🙄)
To winterise it I add sock boots & a leather jacket or a low roll neck, tights & chunky boots… it’s the magic black colour in the print that gives it the 365 benefit & that’s what makes it a Wardrobe Winner 🏆

For the Louis Vuitton Christmas party on Thursday I went for an all black look.
Wearing top to toe black takes skill as unless you are a winter colouring the main rule is never to wear it too close to your face.
The colour black is powerful & evocative with both negative & positive connotations.
The LBD & tuxedo are associated with timeless grace but it’s also a colour associated with death, mourning & sadness.
Wear black as a statement, NOT to be invisible.
My best advice is to ensure it has a low neckline so that the décolletage is on show thus eliminating ageing shadows & dullness in your complexion.
Always mix the textures of each piece, here I’ve gone for leather trousers & the sequins on the jacket bounce & reflect light keeping it interesting.
Use jewellery & a strong lip, think reds, plums, burgundy’s etc & perhaps add a little self tan to your face or bronzer in the winter months.
Black items can be an excellent addition to your wardrobe for the right reasons, if you need any help to work out your best colours just get in touch

( not something at 53 that I class myself as 😂) it can be tricky to balance a train journey in wind & rain, in October with a fabulous venue, comfort for eating & drinking on a Wednesday evening but I think I nailed it with pleather trousers & a floaty satin blouse teamed with heeled boots & a black boucle blazer ( in the cloakroom along with my scarf & brolly)
I was warm & dry on the journey ✔️
I did not have to breathe in ✔️
I could indulge in the cheesecake ✔️
I felt just dressed up enough ✔️
Job done 👊🏻

Autumn Styling 🍂
It’s time to make like the onion & layer up.
Often as the seasons change you can experience several temperatures throughout the day so simply throwing on the “big coat” isn’t the answer.. very bulky to carry if you get a mid day melt 🙈
I’ve used these stunning mid weight jumpers from Style By Halo as with say a vest & lightweigh shirt/blouse underneath they are the perfect top layer.
They have that fab swing shape allowing for layers but what I fondly call “ Dinosaur arms” stopping the item looking too big & oversized.
Add pleather leggings in one of the supersoft cashmere mix scarves, boots & a great across body bag & your good to go 🍁❄️🤩

I count myself incredibly lucky to have had a work/play few days …..
The most unreal trip to London courtesy of Gucci accompanied by my wonderful SA Vesna & the Manchester store manager Aisha, we were treated to first class attentive service from start to finish staying at the stunning Corinthia & visiting the best restaurants along with the hottest tickets in town for the brand new Bond Street store exclusive opening & the Cosmos exhibition extravaganza. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting the key players from the company including the creative director which was a bit of a big deal for me & been looked after so well by everyone, it was an unbelievable invitation to receive & thank you just isn’t a big enough word. Friendships have been formed, networking done, connections made, fun had, laughs laughed & memories created that will last a lifetime.
As they say, Gucci Is A Feeling ❤️💚

The only problem with my career is on some days when you are shopping online & putting outfits together for a client you see too many things you like ☺️

Fashion Styling is my Fave, you get to be so creative as you’re almost over styling & it’s hugely different to personal styling. There is so much energy. However it’s tiring & time consuming so I had my comfies on .. stretchy pants & flat shoes for the win for a day in the studio 📸

This week I’ve been working on an important outfit for a new client who wanted something fabulous for her big 40th birthday party with a black & gold theme.
Once I’d found coincidentally 40 pieces 😉 I created a mood board on Pinterest that contains an image & my personal styling advice for each outfit. Every one of the 40 pins has a clickable direct link so she can now shop carefully selected pieces that will fit & flatter her body shape & colouring without having to go to any shops at all👌🏻

What do you do when you get invited to an exclusive viewing event by Louis Vuitton in Marbella..? Book a flight of course ✈️
The opportunity to view the brand new fine timepiece collection handcrafted in Geneva & made to order for discerning clients was not to be missed. Marbella is the only store in Europe to currently have the prototypes available to view by invitation only & only those invited can purchase. This is a far cry from the LV watches of the past that were based more around fashion.. this is a new direction for the brand attracting a completely different clientele. Popping on the 50k solid rose gold piece & admiring it on my wrist was not something I’ll forget in a hurry 🤣 after the viewing in the V.I.P room we then enjoyed a delicious meal at the LV private table with free flowing champagne, delicious food & the company of other LV clients & staff. We were sat at El Patio, Marbella club until 1am chatting & drinking with a beautiful backdrop & a soft balmy breeze.. it was a Spanish summers evening I’ll cherish for many years & it was such an honour to be invited. Thank you you excelled, as usual. 💙 I shall now be able to share this insight for my clients that are interested in high end investment purchases 🙌🏻
