I just couldn’t help myself, I had to try this one on

A question I always get asked is do you just spend days trying on dresses and honestly I wish that were the case.

But when this latest dress arrived from I couldn’t resist. The neckline is fab and I am absolutely in love with the lace movement in the dress, it is so unique.

Byron is now available to try on in the boutique and currently featuring me on the stories.

It’s finally arrived….the Trunk Show is on our rails bursting with colour and individuality

What is a Trunk Show?

It is a special event usually held over a weekend where we receive many extra dresses from one of our designers. These are usually designs, styles and colours we don’t normally carry all year around.

Is it suitable for me?

The event is designed to showcase more of your favourite dresses from Lucy Can’t Dance. If you are looking for a unique and colourful Wedding Dress then this is for you, LCD sample dresses are extremely inclusive we have a wide range of bridal sizes to try on and all dresses can be made to order in any size with a 6-9 month lead time.

How do I book in?

We are fully booked Friday/Saturday/Monday

I’ve seen some negativity towards today and how women should be celebrated everyday, I agree we should be having continuous conversations, but I feel privileged to have been afforded the opportunities I have taken and the freedom to be myself.

I have a dream that it will only get easier for our children and think it’s important for our history to recognise today and how far we’ve come and how far we still have to go. Whilst thanking those around us for continuing to support each other and showing the world what women can achieve

Yes follow the link in our bio to book, Sale appointments will last 45 minutes and you will be asked to select four gowns from our sale collection to try on at your appointment and have a few in your reserve list in case the ones you choose have sold by your appointment.

It is time to turn the lights out in the boutique and switch the Christmas lights on at home as I’m officially “out of office” for Christmas.

Today is the day that Serendipity Bridal welcomes a new Bridal Accessory Designer I have not been as good as Heidi at keeping this a secret but I am so excited to be getting these beyond fabulous accessories in for Serendipity Brides.

They are arriving today just in time for a busy half term of appointments. If you are looking for an accessory like no other something that you can treasure forever book in for an accessory appointment

When is the right time to buy your dress?

Truth is the only correct time to buy a wedding dress is when you are ready!

You will hear lots of advice and usually it is generally all good advice. I will even give you my perspective below however, truly the only right time is when you are ready to find the one!

If you want to talk practically which I am sure some of you do. These are my tips…

➳ Do your research before you book any appointments, look online Instagram or Pinterest and find the style you are looking for.

➳ Find 1-3 bridal boutiques that tick your boxes and have the dresses you are looking for.

➳ Book an appointment ideally 12-18 months before your wedding date (you can do it quicker but it can be a little more stressful and cost a little bit more too)

➳ Go to your appointments with an open mind and ready to find the one, taking only a few close loved ones you trust.

It can be hard to find the perfect Bridesmaid Dress right?
