Last month of year already - what a year it has been - up and down - God Knows what next year will bring??

We are open throughout for dining in, takeaways and deliveries..

We cater for smal, medium and large parties, work do's, office and christmas parties, birthdays, conferences, meetings, anniversaries - basically everything..lol..

We are fully booked for the 3.30pm christmas day seating but have a few tables left for the 1pm seating..

New years eve - we have tables left for the - 5pm, 7pm and 9pm(that sees us through to the new year, singing and dancing) ..so to avoid disapointment - please book in advance

Christmas eve, boxing day and new years day - we have tables available at the moment.

If you have any celebrations, events, conferencenes, wakes, meetings, christenings, reception etc...coming up.

You can have our VIP room all to yourselves - minumum of 12 people and can hold upto 18 people.

We also have 2 other sections of the restaurant that can hold up to 60 people - section A - 35 people and section B - 25 people.

For Vegans we have a separate menu.

We cook fresh to order, serve and wash up for all of you..

If you are unable to dine in - we will cook fresh to order and deliver it to your doorstep or you can pick up from the restaurant.

We are putting together our Christmas Day and New Years menu..I know...it's that time of year...lol..

For the past 2 years we have been able to open and we are taking bookings to Dine in and Takeaway.

I will be putting out in the next week, the details, timings and prices.

Last year unfortunately we had disappointed customere because we got fully booked early, so to avoid disappointment this year, please book earlier - we will require a 25.00 cash deposit per person to reserve your table.

Once again can't thank you all enough for the support and messages recently!

Just wanted to make note - that is was the CEO and team of the enery supplier that literally saved our business, livlihoods, jobs, homes and our sanity!

I am deeply saddened and aggreived that the people in so called power have still to date not even replied to my email even out of courtesy.

There is more important issues in this country and world and goes to show that we are ALL human beings and if we Listen, Hear and talk to each other no matter what class, heirachy, wealth etc... - what a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful country and world we can live in - don't you agree???....but???

We dont't need Politics or Politicians to Govern this country ,- we need and want normal, decent, hard working, honest pepple in each and evert sector, public and private from the bottom down to build a new foundation!!

Lastly - to show our appreciation for the support from yourselves...till the end of the month - every person who comes to our restaurant - the first drink is on us!!!🍺🍷🥃

Good Morning All

I just have to write this post to thank you all for supporting my cause and hopefully most of you understand what i was trying to do!!

I have had a call earlier from the energy supplier and they have put my business into the lower current market prices for gas&elec and backdated my last invoice.

I WANT TO SAY - THANK YOU TO WHOEVER HAS HAD THE AUTHORITY AND POWER TO DO THIS FOR ME!!

I dont think the government or local mp's, mayor etc...has had any involvement and if they have - i apologise in adavance.

You dont know what this means to us!!

Its proved to me that there are decent people out there who listen, care and understand us innocent people trying to earn and live a decent honest living!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning All

I am so grateful for all your messages and what amazing decent people we still have in this country!

This is for most of us who understand and are decent people trying to earn a decent and honest living - an update.

1) my gas&elec contract ran out sept 2022 - was paying 24k a year for the last 3 years.
2) i had no option but to enter into a new contract with a new supplier at the time the unit rates and standing charge was sky high - working out to 6k a month - 70k a year!
3) the government confirmed they will help towards the bills for one year then review.
4) i was paying 2k per month like previous with the government intervention.
5) then in january 2023 the government changed the goal post after thousands of businesses were in the new contracts.
6) so i received my april bills at it was 6k as the government gave me 79.00 discount!

How can i pay 6k a month - 70k a year - and i know there are thousands of businesses in the same situation!

The decent thing to do is for the government and the energy suppliers to cancel the old contracts and give us new contracts with the new lower unit rates and standing charges to the customers who were literally "gun ponited to their head' last year - which will mean, no job losses, no closing down businsess, no loosing homes, no loosing our sanity and mental health!

I am not into politics and dont want to be tarnished with the same brush - however to do things the right way and go through the correct channels and procedures first, then i must as thats what most decent people will do??

1) i have received an email back from the CEO of the gas&elec supplier and her team will follow this up?
2) i have not heard back from the mayor of manchester - Andy Burnham..to soon maybe?
3) same with the nighttime advisor - Sacha Lord
4) spoke to gareth the secretary of the MP of bury - Christian Wakeford - he said there is nothing they can do but can hold a meeting in a couple of weeks time??..he said blame Conservative!!!!!!
5) i have cancelled my direct debit with the bank.
6) i have received an email from the supplier to notify me , they will charge me 39.00 on top of my 6k bill for late charges.

Like i said - i will not give up and loose this restaurant along with 12 employees AND for our wonderful human beings (customers and friends)

I am a simple person of simple mind and just want to earn a decent living....like millions of people in this country who want to provide for their families!

Unfortunately to survive at the moment in this country - I can understand why some people and businesses cheat the systems, because the powers be are not listening or hearing us innocent people.

Btw - who actually has the power to change things and i mean lots of things not just the gas&bills - the way things are now???

Thank you for all the support from yourselves regarding the last post.

I have built this restuarant from scratch 15 years ago with loyal staff.

I WILL NOT CLOSE THIS RESTAURANT WITHOUT A FIGHT!

I have emailed the ceo of smartestenergy - the supplier, cllr Alan Quinn, MP of Bury - Christian Wakeford, Mayor of Manchester - Andy Burnham, Night time advisor - Sacha Lord.

I will wait to hear back from any of them - if they will help me and all the other businessess who are in the same situation.

Is it fair we loose our livelihoods, mental health, etc - due to no fault of ours!

The country is suffering - we are the people of this country and there are people who can make things happen.

When our families, houses, jobs, money are on the line - normal decent people will provide and fight for what is right!!!

King Charles the 3rd made an oath to serve his people - We are his people and we are suffering...the poor innocent ones who are not cheating the system or being criminals - I understand why - is it right???????

Good Morning All

Hope we are all well.

Just had to write this is as most of us has been affected by domestic and commercial gas/electricity recently.

We have just received our gas and electricity bills this month!
3000.00 - for gas
3000.00 for electricity

Due to the change of the government scheme from 1/4/23..prior to the last 6 months we were paying half due to the old goverment scheme.
Most businesses our or will be in the same situation soon!
How long do us 'peasants' of this country keep closing our eyes and keeping our mouths shut - sorry...but its not fair - this is our livlihoods at steak now!!!!

I have cancelled the DD - spoken to the supplier and they said that unfortunately there is nothing they can do..i said i cant pay it..
so im hoping someone or people out there - start to take notice!!!

Most of us want to work for a living and be proud to be part of this country!!!
