The Golden Opportunity

The Isle of Lewis is located in the Outer Hebrides and can be accessed via ferries from either Ullapool or Uig on the isle of Skye.
The language spoken is Scottish Gaelic or English and the isle of Lewis & Harris offer some of the best beaches in the whole of the Uk.
Callanish is located on Lewis and pre dates Stonehenge as they were erected some 3000 years bc.

Scotland is amazing, on a still November day the blue sky and stillness of the water make the reflections just perfect.

The Old Man of Storr
The Storr, located on the Isle of Skye, is a rocky hill located on a peninsula overlooking the Sound of Raasay. The old man has appeared in film and is a truly outstanding landscape.

Hielan coo or Highland cow, is a rustic cow from the Scottish Highlands and Outer Hebrides.

The Milky Way, Callanish standing stones, take your pick but both are wonders in their own right. Clear skies in October 2018 allowed me to capture this picture as a single shot 30sec exposure. My old Canon 5dmk2 isn't the best with noise so quite a noisy image.

Camas B***adh, tide bell in the clear waters of the North Atlantic on Great Bernera. The drone helps to capture some truly fantastic views of these beautiful locations.

The Bridge to Nowhere, New Tolsta. Often called the Garry Bridge.

Birmingham, United Kingdon, taken when the fountains contained water.

Taken in October 2018 this display will stay in my heart forever.

Traigh Bhostadh (B***a beach) on Great Bernera, amazing location with the North Atlantic, clear water and Iron age dwelling.
A tide bell can be found on the rocks close to the shore.

Eilean Donan castle, on the main road towards the Isle of Skye.
Taken with a slow shutter speed so the water appears calmer than it actual was.
The castle features in "Highlander" featuring Christopher Lambert & Sean Connery.

Cosplay photographs

An old photograph from 2015 and the total eclipse, this photograph was on the ITN website for the event.
Taken using a special film over my lens and pointing it directly at the sun at the moment where the moon blocked out the light.
