Also, a Hikvision villa station door bell and internal tablet. With the doorbell integrated into the nvr, which then records the footage.

Good evening folks. I've been notified of an issue regarding Texecom smart com and comport 2 status issues. This has been caused by an upgrade to texecom firmware within their cloud servers. I'm told by tech support that this issue should be resolved within 4 hours.. Please feel free to message me if this issue does not resolve by itself, and if I hear anything else I will post it on here for you. This is the Hikvision villa doorbell and monitor. I'll be installing this next Monday. First time I've used this new product. Every day is a school day. Looking forward to this. I'll keep you posted. Looks like a good piece of kit.

This Hikvision 5Mp full day/night colorvu camera looks similar to the last one posted, obviously this one is in white on a Swan neck bracket, but is suitable for Digital video recorders. (DVR's). These use coaxial cable and bnc connections. It's backward compatible too so if you have a 2Mp older system, then you can alter the internal settings to compensate. This one was fitted as an entrance camera to an office complex.

All Black 8mp Ip full day night colour. Hikvision Colorvu Camera, attached to a swan neck bracket. Fitted outside on chocolate and cream office wall panels. His panels make my camera look ....good....

I know it's a works laptop. But if you can listen to a little music whilst you install a high grade 8Mp Hikvision NVR in an office block, then you should.

Been a cold and windy day today. Fitted a generic 2Mp full colour camera. Powered locally at the camera but then transmitted using a mega mitter.

Hi folks. I have an apology from texecom services. At the moment their cloud services are down. This means that, you may receive a beeping noise at your alarm panel with a message. Ats path fault.... during this time. You may not be able to use your app to set / unset your alarm. I'll keep you updated as I hear anything else. Thank you for your patience.

Just a little update for you all. The roll out of the hikconnect V6 app update is now here. If you should experience log in difficulties with your old app. Please delete your old hikconnect app. Download the new V6 version from your app store, and log back in using your previous details you used when registering your app.

IT'S HOT OUT THERE...
Now imagine you are installing electrical equipment inside an old insulated loft. The temperature outside is touching 30 degrees. The temperature in your loft is beyond ridiculous.
I really have no issues installing cctv equipment inside your loft🥵. But please........
A: consider the temperature fluctuations up there. Cold isn't so much of a problem but heat is...
Add ventilation. Fans, solar is good. Turns on when sunny. Greenhouse ones aren't expensive and do help a little.
B: Fire alarms. Buy interlink ones. One in you'r loft and one where you can hear it.
C: Access. If you need to view footage. Think about having to get to your system. Maybe your OK now. But when your a little older?
My systems have health monitoring which give of an engineering alert when the equipment is reaching a higher temperature than recommended. If its looked after then my equipment lasts years. If it's not... Well you get the idea....
