Before and after photos of a new build Lounge , hall stairs and landing and utility room .
Louise didn’t like the typical new build box shape living room ,so coving was fitted to soften the edges . The ceiling was finished in Dulux Supermatt white , and the walls in Valspar “ skimming stone “ Vinyl Matt . The woodwork had 2 coats of the super durable Benjamin Moore “ Scuff X “ Satinwood .
The staircase was painted half and half with a taped finish but Louise wanted the sharp edge softening with a small moulding . This was fitted after a fair bit of calculation as it’s quite an awkward shape, but was achieved and painted in with Egyptian cotton Vinyl Matt along with the bottoms of the walls to create an elegant look.. Above dado painted with White Supermatt .
Utility was emulsioned with Valspar kitchen & bathroom “ Strong White “

Composite Door, heavily faded similar to the door in first pic ( forgot to take before photo ) hand painted in specialist exterior paint in pine green . 🚪

Chimney breast and alcove wallpaper stripped , prepped and lined (first 3 pic’s with new lining paper on )
Ceilings and walls emulsioned with Vinyl Matt . Woodwork had a major problem with peeling gloss (gloss on gloss with no undercoat)
This was prepped and undercoated with oil based undercoat and finished in brilliant white gloss .
Fire surround and Mirror frame were fine surface filled , sanded and painted with zinsser allcoat Matt finish .

Toy room , stripped off old wallpaper , prepped the walls and lined with 1000 grade lining paper , then emulsioned with Little Greene paints .

Snippers ✂️ Bar & Salon 🍻🍷🍸🍾 ready for a redec

Little Archie has just started school , so the nursery paper has been stripped off the feature wall and some big boy colours introduced to create a starry sky when finished.
Masking taped with the laser level at roughly 1/3 down from the ceiling .
Finished in vinyl silk with satinwood on the woodwork

Bedroom stripped back to sound lining paper , ceiling emulsioned in timeless Matt , woodwork 2 coated in satinwood white .
William Morris wallpaper on the window walls and a hessian style vinyl on the bed wall .
