Where do we start with this! What a day!

Thank you to each and every one of you that entered and made the day something Maryport will remember for time to come. We had a brilliant amount of entrants this year with over 400 people registered! 🙌

If you’ve some photos that you’d be happy to share, please send us a DM with them and we can post them all in an album!

Thanks to everyone that donated too, we have some heavy collection tubs to count this week and we will soon share that total with you!

Lastly (for this post), thanks to all our Judges and dignitaries that undertook a challenging roll yesterday! Couldn’t have done it without you.

🗺️ All entry to the square must be via Crosby street, the committee will meet you at the road closure

Those that live, work or own a business on the carnival route, should now have received the letter below.
Your support on the day is very much encouraged to ensure the event goes without any issues.

Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, we are now 2 judges short for the carnival! And therefore on the lookout for their replacement.

We have decided to use the power of Facebook to ask you all if you’ve any suggestions or nominations to take up this opportunity.

West Cumbrian carnival set to be 'largest for some time' as new committee take over A POPULAR town carnival will take place this weekend, with the new committee anticipating this years carnival will be the 'largest in some years'.

Last night, the committee met for their last meeting before the carnival!

We have a brilliant amount of entrants registered and we look forward to seeing you all this Saturday!

The committee will be in the square from 11am. All participants / entrants to enter the square via Crosby street only. This will help with sectioning category’s and allows us to order the carnival properly for the procession.

Such a great day at Flimby Carnival. Some of our committee attended as Judges and said it was fantastic!
Well done to all the entrants, there was some beautiful floats!

We've had our final count up and raised a huge £2257.56 .
This will be a massive help towards this year's carnival and we cant thank everybody enough🫶

A special thankyou goes to Grasslot Welfare sports and social club for there donation towards the event , Mike Taylor Printing Services for supporting our printing needs and of course the bingo host himself Darren windle for putting on an amazing night .
