Alongside our well-loved art shop, we are now able to offer artists, makers, and other user groups a creative space to hire at our Lumsdale site, just outside Matlock.
🐿️
Our space is available for hire to anyone who feels it would meet their needs.
🐿️
We are also happy to hear from any artist, maker or creative who has skills they would like to share but may be new to running anything public, and a little nervous – we can support you in running your first workshop and may even be able to provide you with a projector and technical support if you need it.

Turners Art Studio is on a quiet, rural site, has plenty of off-road parking, is set in the fabulous Derbyshire countryside, it is dog-friendly, with walks from the doorstep.

From artists, photographers, and craft groups to historical societies, nature groups, and club meets, the studio is bookable for either half-days morning or afternoons, 8.30 – 12.00 or 12.30 – 4.00 or full days and some flexibility can be accommodated.

Inspired by Scandinavian folklore this mysterious creature will surely add a magical touch to your home or garden.

Vicky’s workshops are this Friday, 1st November and are hosted by Turner’s Art.

Choose either the morning session 9am to 12pm or the afternoon session 1pm to 4pm.

This is a 3-hour workshop aimed at beginners and those building on their pottery techniques and experience. The cost is £40 per session and all materials and equipment will be provided.

Please note your creations will not be ready to take home on the day. Your gonks will need to be dried, fired and glazed. They will be ready to collect at your convenience from the venue 2-3 weeks later.

I overheard lots of calls yesterday at Turners HQ from disappointed people wanting to book onto Sallys children’s painting workshops.
Sally is such a popular tutor that her events book up really quickly.
If you’re interested in something for yourself though, please don’t miss out on her six-week beginners watercolour workshops starting on the 7th November.

We keep these workshops limited in places to ensure everyone gets the attention and tuition they need.
