The Middleton by Wirksworth gardens will be open again today, the weather is looking far better for all today to enjoy a walk around and enjoy the scenery.
The gardens are open between 11.00am and 5.00pm.
We have over 30 areas open for this years event, all our gardens, spaces are loved and the owners and volunteers are proud of them to open for others to hopefully enjoy. Maybe you can get ideas of what they can do in similar spaces in a hilltop village environment nearly 1000 feet above sea level with differing weather compared to the normal.
Some will be offering food and refreshments, normally raising money for good causes close to their hearts, so please support them and enjoy what is on offer.
Others will be showcasing their hobbies, some utilizing their gardens too.
We have kept our weekend price the same yet again at only £3 for the weekend ticket covering both days.
Tickets are available at 4 places throughout the village. Either 3 Rise End, The car park at Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, The Nelson Arms Pub, and 3 The Hall. All will be shown by signs outside.
Please park responsibly if visiting from outside our village in the areas either signposted or if you are parking on the roads please do not block any driveways and always leave space for a locals and the local buses to conveniently pass through the village. There is no charge for parking anywhere so please be respectful as you would at your home.
We look forward to welcoming you all maybe for the first time or those who love to visit annually and help us raise money for our community groups throughout the year while you enjoy the surroundings, views and gardens of our village.
Maybe helpful for some in the village...
