Thanks to their generosity, additional “round bonuses” will be paid to the top three NPSC points-scorers at each round, provided they race at the next subsequent round. For example, the top three scorers from the series in Round 1 at Crimond on Sat 16th Sep will split £1,000 between them, as long as they compete in Round 2 at Cowdenbeath on Sun 17th Sep.

We had the pleasure of building Lauren some 400s S/Adj Reliant Scimitar shocks to go onto her 1941 Willys Coupe!!

Protech had a great team bonding afternoon today (minus a few employees). Put a load of Motorsport enthusiasts in some go karts and all hell breaks loose.

We built some lovely light weight, adjustable dampers for an early Jag this week. Now running full Ali bases,bodies and tops but still maintaining the period look with the black anodising.

A nice upgrade from the heavy steel units that they're replacing.

That's 2022 wrapped up for us 🎄🎄

We want to thank all of our customers for all the loyal support and kind words this year, it really means a lot. Also to all our suppliers that aid us in making our product as good as it is.

We will open up the doors on Tuesday 3rd January and be fully charged to give 2023 everything!!

🏆🏆 We love seeing our hard work paying off!!! Below is a kind review from one of our customers in his TVR Griffith 500 Championship winning car 🏆🏆

"I just wanted to pass on my thanks for the set of shocks that I bought earlier this year. They were incredibly easy to fit and set up, and made a huge difference to the car, with so much more grip and compliance, especially at the rear end(!)

Even more importantly, they allowed me to win the Classic Marques Sports Car Championship, with 8 wins from 10 starts, to score a championship maximum of 200 points!

At every venue, I managed a PB, with the biggest improvement at Goodwood of 1.5 seconds, and that was all down to the improved suspension.

To cap off a fantastic season, I managed 4th place out of 25, in the GT class at the Saint Goueno French Masters Hillclimb, and the first car home on A list tyres!

Tony recently came in with some shocks off his Zetec'd Sylva Stylus that needed a bit of work. Sorted the same day whilst he waited and he is now ready to carry on the road trips all around the UK!!

In not even a year he covered 7,500 miles. It's certainly being used the way it was designed to !!! 😍

New product review for Lambretta Front Dampers:

"Team DSC Racing have be working with Protech Shocks in their development of their new fully adjustable Lambretta front dampers.

Having tested them over the 2022 British Scooter Sport Organisation race(BSSO) series the British Scooter Endurance Club(BSEC) 6hr endurance and road/rally events we can confidently say they have ticked all the boxes.

Robust in design and appearance they fit perfectly and snugly without any modifications.(providing the fork damper brackets are positioned correctly).

There are 14 adjustable settings which has been advantageous in allowing us to set the front suspension to suit individual circuits and conditions, also having been used with both anti dive and non anti dive braking systems we have concluded that the sensitive adjustment has allowed for fine tuning to allow for greater track performance.

Summary:

After 6 months of use in both short circuit racing and a 6hr endurance test along with several road going tests, including a 350 ml LCGB’s Coast to Coast event. they have shown to be reliable and lost no performance or suffered any mechanical issues.

Whether race or road conditions the Protech Lambretta front damper system performed faultlessly!
